Genre: Fluff/ High School Au
Au: High School au, where Logan and Remus get paired up in a group project together.
Remus tapped his pencil on his desk, eyeing the clock desperately waiting for the day to be over,even though he had this whole last period left. His teacher was explaining an important project, but Remus wasn't paying the slightest amount of attention. He only snapped into attention when he heard his teacher say his name, "huh? What did I do?" His teacher sighed "I was telling you who you were going to be working with for the project. As I said you're going to be working with Logan over here." His teacher gestured towards Logan Croft, probably the smartest kid in the whole school, aka the complete opposite of Remus. "Okay, sweet means for once I won't fail, nice." Remus said, earning a sigh from Logan, a groan from his brother, and a laugh from his friend Dee. Remus grabbed his binder,and walked over to sit next to Logan, who was currently his pencils and pens alphabetically by their brand name. Logan looked up "Well Remus, I know we do not currently know each other very well, but as you probably know this is worth 60% of our grade, and we can not mess this up. Therefore, we will probably be forced to spend a lot of time with one another, so I thought we should at least get to know each other decently well so, we should probably have a proper introduction. " He held out his hand for Remus to shake,"Logan Croft. " He said with a slight smile. Remus shook Logan's hand awkwardly," uhh Remus Adelio, but you already know that. You're my brother's friend. " Logan nodded,"Yes I am aware, but we never had a proper introduction to one another." Remus dropped his binder down onto the desk next to Logan's and sat down next to him. Logan took out some notes he had made in his journal, "Now, do you have any ideas for the project? I've noticed that you're rather creative, and thought you might have some useful ideas." Remus's eyes widened,"You thought I would have useful ideas? Of all people, you thought I would?" Logan shrugged,"Well you are a very creative person, and being partnered up with a creative person is a good thing, so I thought you would have useful ideas. " Remus shrugged,"I guess maybe I would...if I payed attention in class, and knew what the heck we were doing." Logan sighed,"So you're telling me, you have no idea what we are doing for the project?!" Remus shook his head, causing Logan to face palm. "Well I might as well explain it to you then." He sighed again "You are aware of the book that we had to read last week correct?" Remus nodded, he absolutely hated that book, he thought it was so boring, and barely got through it, even with his brother's help. "Alright good. Well we have to write an essay together about how it connects to both of our lives. We have two weeks to complete this, so we should probably get to thinking of ideas." Remus nodded, yet really not caring about the school work. Logan sighed,"Remus I can tell you're not interested I'm not an idiot. " Remus interrupted him"yeah no shit you're not an idiot, you're like really smart! " He said jokingly, trying to lighten the mood. Logan couldn't help but quietly laugh, he then continued,"as I was saying, you clearly are bored, but we have to get this done." Remus shrugged "oh I know! I'm just trying to stall you, because this is boring." Logan giggled with a small smile," But seriously Remus, we have to focus. " Remus groaned,"ugh fine mom!" He teased. The two spent the rest of the class joting down ideas, well.....Logan was jotting down ideas, Remus was mostly joking around, and not taking anything seriously. Remus even getting some laughs out of the serious Logan! While the two were talking Remus couldn't help but notice how cute the nerdy boy really was, his somehow perfectly neat hair, his bright dark blue eyes, that gleamed when light hit his glasses, 'dang,my brother has attractive friends' he thought to himself. Logan was in the middle of writing something down when the bell rang, he put his stuff away into his bag, starting to pack up his bag. The two had decided to work on their parts of the project at home tonight and discuss what they had written down the next day, but Remus wasn't sure he would be able to write something good enough. Typically he didn't care how terrible his school work would be, at least he got it done, but he was working with Logan of all people, he felt like Logan wouldn't respect him if he didn't do well. "Hey umm Logan, actually can you help me with my part?" Logan turned around, he nodded with a small smile "Why of course, would you like me to come over after school?" Remus scratched the back of his neck "actually, wanna meet at the coffee shop near my house?" He said with a slight smirk. Logan nodded "Sure that will  work, I will see you then." He said walking off.
Later that day at the coffee shop
Logan walked into the coffee shop Remus was talking about, and waved to him "Lo! Over here!" Remus exclaimed. Logan walked over to Remus and sat next to him, "So you wanted me to help you with your part of the assignment correct?" Remus nodded taking out his folder,which was covered in pride stickers. Logan smiled slightly "Well Remus,I think we can go somewhere based off that." Remus looked confused, causing Logan to sigh "Remus,the book was about the main character not being accepted by society, and I saw it to be about accepting yourself. Don't you think you could make a connection to your sexuality?" Remus's face lit up,he then faced palmed "Wow,I am such an idiot." Logan sneered "I wouldn't call you an idiot,I just wouldn't call you smart." Remus gasped dramatically "Rude!" Logan rolled his eyes "But you just called yourself an idiot." Remus nodded "I know what I said!" The two spend about another hour together, writing down ideas, bonding,really becoming pretty close friends. Remus laughed "You're funnier that I thought you would be!" Logan blushed in response "Oh uhm,thank you." Remus scratched the back of his neck "Hey so,would you be willing to go on a date with me?" Logan's eyes widened,he had never been asked out on a date before! "Oh,uhm sure! That would be satisfactory"
"Wait? Really?"
"Yes."
"Great! I'll pick you up Friday night?"
"Sure,I will see you then."
Remus watched as Logan walked out of the coffee shop, "Yes! Hah in your face Roman,I got a boyfriend before you!" He whispered to himself.
                            Later that Night
"You what?!" Roman said baffled "You actually got someone to agree to go out with you?!" Remus nodded "And guess who doesn't have a boyfriend yet? You!" Remus teased, receiving a slap from his brother. "Okay, who is this mysterious boyfriend of yours then?" Roman questioned. "Logan." Remus replied calmly. "WAIT WHAT?! LOGAN? LIKE LOGAN CROFT?! NO WAY!" Roman said,his eyes widening. "Yep, that's the one! What? Ya jealous?" Remus teased. Roman shook his head "No, I'm just shocked. You sure that was the really Logan and not a clone?" Remus shoved his brother "haha, very funny. We'll see who's laughing after my date goes amazing!" Roman rolled his eyes,"Alright then."

Friday Night
Remus knocked on Logan's door, running his fingers through his hair. Logan opened the door with a smile, he was wearing a white button up shirt, with a dark blue tie,with black leggings. Remus blushed "Wow you look stunning. Yeah, stunning, like that on time how I stunned my brother by-" He stopped in the middle of his sentence,"I'll tell that story another time, the point is you look great. " Logan smiled slightly, a light shade of pink highlighting his cheeks,"Oh thank you, I have uhm never been complimented like that. I really appreciate it... " Remus giggled, the only innocent sound that would even come out of his mouth,"Well come on then! What are we waiting for?" Remus said grabbing Logan's hand. "Where are we going exactly? You told me you would pick me up but you didn't tell me where we were going." Logan questioned. Remus just smiled continuing to walk "We're going to a nearby cafe but I'm not telling you where...oh, I just did didn't I.." Remus shrugged "Whatever! Yeah, we're going to the care where I asked you out, I don't know, Roman said it would be cute or something." Logan felt his face heat up slightly,"Well I agree it is rather sweet of you. " The two boys walked down the street together, eventually ending up at the cafe. They walked into the cafe, sitting down at a nearby table. The two of them both ordered a cup of coffee, yet neither of them barely drank anything, too distracted by the other person in front of them. The date had been going really well so far, so Remus decided to ask "Hey Logan? Would you like to maybe   do this again sometime? And you know maybe be my boyfriend?" Logan blushed "I would love to moron."
