"..yes Taehyung, you can get it" Taehyung smiled in success, he had finally convinced his father to buy him the new car he always wanted. He took the credit card of his father, heading out the door as he left his father's office. He's been thinking about the one car that caught his eyes ever since he drove pass the car shop.
He happily took the car he already had, turning it on before driving away. He hummed as he was excited about the car, pressing onto the pedals more, he wanted to quickly get there.
Taehyung was a spoiled kid, wanted to have fun in his youth and just enjoy life, in which he did, but also respect his mistakes, sometimes, if he did too much. Remembering the time when he almost ran over a kid, he had to stop his tracks and make sure he was alright.
To be called spoiled was something Taehyung got all the time, but rude and disrespectful was just nothing that could describe him. As he drove to the shop, he stopped at a small coffee shop that was near a park. He wanted something cold to drink, he wanted to refresh his mouth.
Getting out his car and locking it, he crossed the road and made his way to the shop. Opening the door, he was welcomed by the smell of fresh vanilla and the softness of the atmosphere. He smiled, walking up to the small line that was in front of him. He stared down at his phone as he waited for the line to get shorter.
"Next!" He heard, looking up and putting his phone in his pocket. As he did so, his feet were up to the cashier, facing up as he looked to see what he wanted. Maybe an ice caramelo would be good..or maybe the chocolate one..
"Whenever you're ready sir" he stared down, irritated of the person who interrupted his thoughts, but cooled down when he saw a smile, that made his heart go thump..
Thump..
Thump..
"Sir? Are you okay?" He blinked out of his world, clearing his throat as he saw the same smile from earlier. His face couldn't help but heat up while he tried to push it away, yet nothing helped, it was still there.
"Y-yeah! Uh- give me a ice caramel frappe with two coo- I mean one! One cookie.." he looked down, heard a soft chuckle coming from the worker.
"What type? There's chocolate, mint, vanilla..?" The worker waited for Taehyung to answer, who still stood in his place. The people from the back were getting annoyed at how long Tae was taking.
"Vanilla.." he finally called out, smiling a bit as he received a smile back.
After awkwardly walking away from the counter, he sat himself on a chair, staring at the male who made him lose his mind. He smiled, not realizing he was even smiling, resting his chin on his hand. He waited for his drink to come up, patiently like never before.
"For Kim Taehyung! Your order is ready!" He quickly got on his feet, walking before the worker can turn his back on him. He smiled widely at him, receiving a smile back. He grabbed his frappe and cookie, not being able to take his eyes off of the male. Yet seconds later, his eyes went down to the name tag that was pinned onto the worker's shirt.
'Jin' he thought, smiling to himself and quickly leaving, not wanting to be seen as a creepy guy. He crossed the street, sipping on his drink as he took a bite of his cookie as well. His heart couldn't stop the thumping feeling from earlier and he just didn't know why, but it felt different.
"Jin..what a beautiful name..for such a beauty.." Tae smiled like a highschool boy with his love. He started his car, daydreaming as he drove off
...
As days passed, Taehyung couldn't help but stop by the cafe every time he could. He would try to not be so much of a 'stalker', making sure he would sometimes get another cashier to take his order, while other days he'll go to Jin. He just, couldn't help but feel joy in his heart whenever he saw that smile.
"Tae! You're back again! The usual?" Jin said with a smile, making Tae's heart yet again go thump..
Thump..
Thump..
"Y-yeah! And two cookies this time" Tae smiled, shyly wanting to hide away. As Jin nodded, Tae fidget with his fingers, he's been wanting to ask Jin something, yet his confidence would just go away whenever he was with him.
"It'll be $9.39" Jin smiled, receiving the same amount of money as always, about to put the money in the drawer when he saw a strange piece of paper. Taking it away from the money, he held it in his hands as he smiled, looking up.
"Of course I'll give you my number Tae" he giggled, striking Tae in the heart while Tae gave it his best to not make his face go red. Quickly, Jin wrote his number on the piece of paper, giving it to Tae as he turned to the other customers.
Tae happily went to his seat, sitting down as he waited for his order. Looking at the paper, he took out his phone and noted down the number, smiling like an idiot as he happily sighed. He got what he wanted, like always.
"You waited for me?" Jin said as he saw Tae still seated in the same spot since the morning. He smiled when Tae nodded with his head, he found the taller cute.
"Yeah..I can't" Jin laughed, smacking Tae lightly on the arm. They both walked out, Tae staring at Jin who stared at his phone. If Tae could be honest, he could stare at Jin's face forever, not get bored and enjoy the view he was so lucky to stare at.
"You hungry? I heard there's this new shop around the corner that sells really good tteokbokki and I've been dying to try~" Jin drooled at the thought of food while Tae laughed at how funny Jin looked.
"Sure, I'll pay!" Jin stared at him in..competition?
"No~ I'll be paying! I invited you, so I should be the one to pay! And no buts! Now let's go!~" Tae smiled at how Jin skipped. To only have met him a week ago, they seemed like they've been with each other since a very long time, maybe it was fate that brought them together.
"Wait up!" Tae smiled as he quickly jogged to Jin, walking next to him as they walked to the shop.
Walking up to the shop, Tae smiled at how nice to restaurant looked. He really didn't like eating with others, but what could he say, Jin just might change his thinking. Sitting down at a far end table, they were both given menus, looking at it to see what they were going to get.
Everything was looking well for Taehyung. Just maybe, life was treating him the way it should, maybe.
