Taehyung smiled as he got home, remembering the best time he had with Jin. They went for ice cream, talked and had to say their goodbyes as Jin had work the next day. It made Tae a bit sad in his heart, but knew he had to let Jin go. He opened the door to see the living room lights on, making him frown, was his father there? He placed his keys on the key table, taking off his shoes as he went straight to the living room.
"..mom?" Tae said, seeing his mother smile at him. He quickly went to her, smiling and hugging her. Don't get him wrong, he was just mad that she left him without a notice to go on a trip without him, but he was glad that she was back.
"Taehyung-ah! My darling how you've been?~" his mother smiled, receiving a kiss on the forehead. He hugged his mother more, feeling his self child come out.
"Mom, why you leave me here, I was heartbroken when you left me" Tae faked cry as his mother only laugh, she knew how much Tae wanted to go to New York but she only had time to go for two days and come back.
"Tae, honey, it was two days, not two weeks, get over it" she smiled as he let go of her. They both walked back to the couch, sitting down as his mom held his hand.
"So, what have you've been up to?" Taehyung smiled as his mother turned to him.
"Well..I made a new friend" his cheeks gave out a light blush, making his mother curious, what was this friend that made her son so shy?
"A new friend? Why so shy though?" She teased, seeing her son get so shy with the thought of his new friend being brought up to his mind. Taehyung smiled, he believed Jin was different from any others.
"Who said I'm shy? Pshhh..not me..yeah" Tae rubbed his neck, his mother was right, he was shy all the time when he thought of Jin.
Just last night he remembered how he couldn't get his face from stop being red to the point where he had to slap himself to make an excuse. No one had to know about that.
"Now tell me for real, who is this new friend? I'm curious on who's making my son so red for the first time" his mother smiled, making him look down and fidget with his fingers. His heart started to beat out of normal as the face of Jin came up to his mind.
"Well..his name is Jin, and he's a funny, nice, attractive man" his mother smirked, making him regret ever opening his mouth.
"Attractive~ is my son finally learning to love someone else that isn't themselves?" Taehyung rolled his eyes but the same light tint of red was on his cheeks. He didn't want to admit it, but his mother was half right, just half.
"Oh shush, I love you too mother, and father too" Tae smiled, wanting to change the topic. His mother nodded, beginning to speak about her trip, Tae thankful that she changed the topic herself.
...
Taehyung sighed as he laid on his bed, it was just around 10:23pm when he decided he wanted to go to his room and rest up. He let his mother rest as well, knowing she must be tired from the whole trip. He stared up at the ceiling, the lights a bit dimmed as he didn't like much of light when outside was dark.
His eyes slowly got to imagine Jin's face on the ceiling, making him shake his head and sit up. Something was wrong with him and his mind, nothing like this have ever. He slapped himself, lightly, making his eyes erase Jin's imagine away from his view.
"Whats wrong with me.." he said, sighing and stands up, heading to the bathroom and washing his face. He needed something to refresh his mind, and the best thing was washing his face. He brushed his teeth, grabbing his phone and flopping onto the bed, almost hitting his face on his phone but moving it out of his face before it could.
"Now what to do.." he scrolled through his socials, nothing interesting catching his eyes. He sighed again, he's been sighing too much but who cares, no one was around. He put his phone on the night stand, turning off his lights as he went under the covers, ready to have a good sleep.
He couldn't sleep, his eyes would be close but he would be awake, if that made sense. He just didn't know why, his heart was just beating too much, was he going to die? All his mind could think of was Jin, Jin here, Jin there. He didn't knew what to do, it was as if Jin possessed his mind into doing that and his heart to go thump..
Thump..
Thump..
"Aishhh, this is frustrating.." he said, getting up and going to the balcony he had in his room. The fresh air came to his face, loving it as he loved anything fresh. He placed his arms on the balcony, resting onto it as he stared out into the view.
The view was dark, but few lights lit up the way, as the trees and flowers colored around them. Taehyung liked it, it reminded him of peace and quietness. No one really knew, but he was quite a lover of peace and quiet things. Sometimes, he would even spend all day just staring out to the world if he didn't have anything to do.
He would let his thoughts release to the unknown world, making him smile as all his problems would go away. It was easy, for him to release those thoughts, but lately..
"I wonder what Jin is doing" nothing has helped him release the thought of Jin. He sometimes wanted to smack himself to see if it'll work but nothing seemed to help him. It was as if he was stuck with those thoughts that possessed his body lately.
"I need to stop thinking about him, it's not good.." he said as he whacked his face. He needed a new brain if this one was going to continue to be the way it was.
"What has gotten into you Taehyung..why you like this" he groaned, putting his head on the balcony, he was like that for a few, before his head started to hurt from the coldness. He went inside, closing the door of the balcony as he went back to his bed.
Closing his eyes, he drifted off to his dreamland, calmly resting in peace.
...
Jin smiled as he saw the same face he would always see when his shifts started. He quickly went to check in, not wanting his boss to think he was late, putting ok his apron as he walked up to Taehyung with the biggest smile ever, the one that made Tae's heart beat rather weird.
"Same as always?" Taehyung nodded, taking out his card to pay but being stopped by a hand. He looked up confused, he was supposed to pay, right?
"It's on the house" Jin said, placing his card instead and paying for Tae's order.
"You should have let me pay Hyung, it's just some money, I could have easily paid that" Taehyung pouted as he received his frappe with the same cookie as before. Jin smiled with a nod.
"I know, but I wanted to give it to you free" Taehyung tilted his head, why? They just have known each other for less than four days, why free?
Confused, he went to his usual spot, looking at Jin who worked hard like always. His mind was filled with thoughts, the same ones, of Jin, but also of why he gave him the drink free. He didn't mind, in fact he liked that he got the coffee and cookie for free, but why free?
