Taehyung stared as Jin waved goodbye at him. With a sigh, he closed the door, putting his hands up to his chest, his heart was beating too much for his liking. He wasn't used to it to react in such a way for a human, less with someone who he just met a few days ago.

"So..you mind telling me more about your 'friend'?" Taehyung groaned as he heard his mother behind him, turning around to see her smirking at him. He sat on the couch, slouching as his mother came and sat next to him.

"What else do you want to know about him? He must have told you everything as you couldn't stop asking questions as we ate" his mother laughed, remembering how much Jin would speak as food was still in his mouth.

Though she didn't mind, she loved hearing the stories of Jin, anything he had to say, it was Tae that did mind, cause he didn't even have a chance to hangout with Jin as he planned to. He was, a bit annoyed at the fact that his mother became friends with Jin when it should have just been him and Jin, not even Yeontan could be with them.

"Oh my..is my son finally coming into new feelings?" Tae looked at his mother confused, new feelings? What new feelings?

"You unloved soul, aish kids these days. I'm heading to bed, don't stay up late!" She said as she stood up and went upstairs, Taehyung's eyes following her as his confused looked never went. He shrugged it off, resting back on the couch as the house was left silent. The kitchen lights were on, leaving the living room shining a bit from it and from the moon outside.

Taehyung loved the peacefulness, he always wanted to be in it if he could, but currently, he wished it wasn't this quiet. He groaned as his placed his hand to his heart, he didn't know why his heart felt like exploding, he just wanted it to stop.

"Stupid...what?." He stared at Yeontan, who had a squeaky toy in his mouth. He walked away, believing his owner was just weird and went to do his own business.

Grabbing his phone, Tae laid on the couch, trying to distract himself. If one wanted to know if he accomplished it, he was calling Jin as he facepalmed himself.

"Tae! What's up?" Taehyung smiled as he heard his voice. But as he came back to his thoughts, his voice wouldn't come out, he laid there as Jin's voice continued to echo in his mind, he was going crazy.

"Taehyung? You alright?" Jin heard nothing, feeling as if Tae had called him on accident, hanged up. On the other hand, Tae was distraught, he was left on the couch, looking at the ceiling as his phone fell to the floor, what was he even doing. He knew he wasn't in the right of mine, seeing how much he's changed, he didn't like it. Knowing what to do, he got up and headed to his bedroom, ready to sleep.

...

Jin had a frown upon his face as he continued to work. It had been just yesterday that Taehyung had 'accidentally' called him and yet after that, no sign of him at the front door of the shop. Yet he continued to have a smile, as many other customers came through the door.

"Seokjin? Whats up with you?" Ken, Jin's friend and coworker said, seeing the disappointed face of his, who only pouted and whined. He smiled as he pat his back, rubbing it a few times as Jin spoke up.

"Taehyung isn't going to come, do you think I did something wrong?" Ken smiled, seeing how funny Jin looked with the same pout he had from before.

"I don't think you did anything wrong Jin, he must be busy or something, don't worry much" Jin smiled, Ken is right, Tae must be busy, that's it.

As Jin continued to work, a pair of eyes stared at him from outside the store. Taehyung's face was covered with a mask, hiding as he held a smile. Yet he didn't like it, finding himself walking away and into his car. He knew he would regret it later, but he just needed time, time to think.

"Do you think something happened to him Ken?" Jin asked as he put his apron on the racket that was in the employee's room. He had just finish his shift, it being around 5 in the afternoon, looking at Ken who stared at him with dear eyes.

"I don't think so Jinnie, stop thinking so much before you jinx it" he smiles, petting Jin's head as he took his apron off as well. Jin frowned, and with a sigh, he nodded. He would just have to wait for tomorrow to see if Tae would come or not, he hope he would.

Walking side by side, Ken and Jin both decided to walk together, as usually Tae would be the one walking Jin home, Ken decided it would be best for him to take Jin home this day.

"I saved enough money for that necklace my mom wanted, you think I should buy it for her birthday or wait until Mother's Day?" Jin asked, making Ken think for a bit.

"Which one is special?" Jin smiled.

"Both of course! Oh! I'll give it on her birthday, it's closer so the sooner, the better" Ken smiled, he knew how much of a big heart Jin had, there was never a day that he went without talking about his family.

He remembered how they met, it was Ken's first day and Jin just randomly started speaking about his brother and how much he adored him, even if his brother was older. It made Ken feel a special connection with Jin, though it was just brotherly connection.

They stood in front of Jin's apartment, Jin hugging Ken like always before heading inside. He had invited Ken to stay for a bit, but Ken denied, saying he had some few things to take care of, leaving Jin and going off to do his own duties.

Jin sighed as he got inside, locking the door as he threw himself on the couch. He was pretty much exhausted to think of anything else. He just felt like sleeping forever and ever. As he closed his eyes, the tiredness from his body slowly lifted from him, making him smile before drifting off fully to dreamland.

...

Jin was out of his usual self, Ken could see it, anyone could. He was in his own world, making Ken take him to the employee room so another worker could take care of the customers order.

"Okay Jin, what's up with you?" Ken asked, he was worried of Jin. Jin was always a smiling guy, a person who wouldn't care how tired he was, he would still pull a smile to his mouth.

"Am I annoying?" Ken felt like a truck had hit him, was this Jin that he knew that was talking?

"Wow wow wow there, now who made you think that way? Cause for sure, the last person who I think is annoying is Karen's" Ken said, making Jin laugh a bit. There was those people who thought they owned the shop, but usually Jin was able to handle them peaceful, unlike Ken.

"Yeah..you're right.." Jin smiled, hey Ken didn't feel right. He sighed, putting his hand on Jin's cheek, he smiled before saying.

"Who's ass should I beat?" Jin laughed a bit more, he knew Ken cared for him, maybe to the point where he would beat someone, but Jin also knew he was joking there.

"No one's ass you're going to beat Ken..and I'm okay" Jin smiled, trying to lie to Ken, but Ken wasn't buying it. He had known Jin for 6 years now, and he has gotten used to Jin's lies here and there.

"Nah nah honey, tell me the truth or your cakes are going bye bye to you and hi hi to my mouth" Jin glared at Ken. Ken knew how much Jin loved his cakes, so the best way was to make him come out of his shell, even when he didn't want to. Ken just wanted to make sure Jin was really okay, and not hurt.

"Taehyung has been ignoring me.."
