Jin was the type of guy to want things to be understood. If he would feel like he did something bad, he would want to do if he did so, to apologize. He continued to do his daily routines, wake up, work, eat, go home, clean up, sleep. Yet with the same doings from before, he felt disappointed and hurt, why has Taehyung not respond to any of his calls?
"Is it that Taehyung guy again?" Ken said as soon as he entered the back door of the shop. It had been almost a week since Jin has been with the sulky mood and he wasn't going to put up with.
"I swear, I will beat his ass for making you be like this! Is he still ignoring you? What kind of ass is he?!" Ken said, making Jin look at him as he pretty much didn't like anyone who cursed. Ken put his hands up, apologizing but he was right, what kind of ass does he think he is for ignoring Jin like that?
"Maybe..he got tired of me? You sure I'm not annoying? What if I put too much sugar on those cupcakes I gave him! Oh no!" Jin rumbled on his words, making Ken sigh. Jin was an over thinker when someone didn't answer his calls, in which he didn't like, but he couldn't help but think of the possibilities of what had happened to the other person.
"Jinnie..you need to calm down before thinking. You did nothing wrong, it's that douche that's wrong! What a a-hole" he crossed his arms as Jin laughed a bit. The much that Ken tried his best not to curse out at Taehyung at that moment made it difficult as he was mad at him.
"Fine..let's..wait to see when he response.." Jin sighed, going back to work as with a better smile, enjoying the moments at work.
...
Taehyung was beyond confused, distraught, anything similar to those words. He was feeling horrible on the fact that he knew he was ignoring Jin, but just couldn't help to bring himself to text him back. He was questioning himself, the feeling that has been killing him since the first time they've met, what was happening to his heart?
He never meant to completely stay silent, he was the type to tell someone he needed a break, even after a fight or something, but he didn't know why he didn't. He was in his room, staring at the wall as his thoughts were elsewhere.
"Tae? You in there?" His mother was heard from outside the door, knocking on the door as Tae sighed. Getting up, he opened the door as he smiled at his mother.
"Now..tell me what's up with you? It's been a week since you have had that confused face" his mother said as she went in and sat on the bed. Tae sighed and sat beside her, looking up at her with the same confused face.
"I think I have heart disease" whack! Was his answer, his mother stared at him with the most done face she could ever give. He almost choked on his air by the whack that it made him not want to say anything else.
"Heart disease? Stop being dumb and tell me for real what's up" she crossed her arms as she laid back on the bed. Taehyung sulked, he was just hit for being confused.
"I don't know mom! I feel my heart beating fast whenever Jin-hyung is here! It confuses me!!" Taehyung yelled out as he held his head. His mother smiled as she patted his back.
"Taehyung..do you think Jin is a attractive person?" Taehyung stopped for a bit, looking up he thought. Jin really is attractive, was that wrong to think? Taehyung even sometimes wanted to call him beautiful if he could.
"Uh..yeah?" His mother smiled, squeezing his cheeks before speaking again.
"Do you think, Jin is someone you want to spend the rest of your life with?" Taehyung blushed a bit at the thought, for the rest of his life? Hell yeah! He wanted to spend all day with Jin if he could, hear the laughs and jokes Jin would tell him and just be with him in general.
"..yeah.." Taehyung shyly smiled, his mother was doing something to him.
"Son, have you ever fallen in love?" Taehyung shooked his head no. As he thought about it, no one really has made it to his heart, not that he really cared, he never saw the interest in love at the point. He would always say he loved his parents and that was it.
"Tae, what you are feeling, is no heart disease, it's love, you're in love Taehyung"
...
Love, it was sometimes strange to him. Call him weird or anything, he just never seemed to find someone to love more than he loved his parents. He sometimes wished to find someone, but other times he wished he didn't. He held his phone in his hands, looking at it as he laid in bed, it had been almost an hour since he's been like this, and he couldn't help it.
"What are you going to do now?" Taehyung looked at his mother, who stood at the frame at his door. He sat up, he honestly missed Jin, and to be exact, he knew his true feelings.
"I'm going to apologize" Tae smiled, standing up as he walked to his mother with his phone in his hands. After the small talk with her, he realized that it was no heart disease he had, it was love, it was love that he was feeling, and he was starting to like it.
He grabbed his keys, quickly walking down the stairs as he made his way to his car. He wanted to apologize as it was his fault for ignoring Jin for almost two weeks, worried that Jin wouldn't forgive him and all. He planned to buy him his favorite tteokbokki, knowing how much Jin liked it the last time they went to get some.
He knew Jin would be working at this hour, it being only 10 in the morning. Making his way to the same shop that he had eaten tteokbokki with Jin.
"Hello! I'll have the spicy tteokbokki" Taehyung smiled, the lady in front nodding as she noted his order on the computer. His heart couldn't help but feel excited, like a kid getting a brand new toy or getting the dream car one always wanted. He waited for his order to be ready, sitting on the seats that were empty, taking out his phone as he stared at the messages. He regret, so much, of how much he wanted to answer Jin, he couldn't bring himself to respond to him.
"Number 67!" He quickly got on his feet, smiling and thanking the lady who handed him the bag that contained the food. He quickly went out, walking to his car as he placed the bag on the passenger's seat, driving to the coffee's shop.
He parked his car in front of the park, that was in front of the shop, quickly crossing the street with the bag of tteokbokki in his hands. Opening the door, he was ready to see Jin, wanting to hug him and explain why he's been such an asshole. Yet nothing would have prepared him for the scene that he would look at.
