Anyone had the chance to forgive and forget, others forgave but never intended to forget. Then there were the ones who never forgave nor forgot, they just couldn't. Taehyung was scared of Jin's response, he meant everything in his apology, he just wished Jin would believe him.
"It was a lot, from what you said before, and from now..I understand we are two different people, different thoughts. I didn't think of it before, but we both must have had different teachings so..I forgive but.." Taehyung gulped at the word 'but', but what?
"You have to learn to not say such hurtful words, to anyone, including yourself. You may have said those words to me but that doesn't mean you can call yourself an ass or whatever, just understand and we can move on" Jin smiled, he for sure was an Angel sent from God.
"Really?" Jin smiled more and nodded. It was the best thing he could do. He never liked holding onto grudges, it made his heart feel bad and just himself be a horrible person.
"Can..I buy you some ice cream than?" Jin smirked, still grabbing onto the tulips, he turned his back on Taehyung, scaring him a bit.
"Fuck yeah! It's food so why not? Let's go!" With a laugh, they both went to the ice cream shop.
...
"Hyung, can I ask you something?" Jin nodded as he licked his ice cream. He was too busy eating to notice that Taehyung was idiot smiling at him.
"That time..you gave me my order free..do you do it to everyone?" Jin stopped as he heard what Taehyung said. Placing his ice cream cone away from him, he smiled.
"To those who deserve it" Taehyung frowned. He was confused. How could he possibly know who deserves it?
"But..how do you know? I mean, that time you barely knew me, yet gave it to me" Jin smiled more, chuckled. He was always asked these type of questions, he didn't mind answering them, it was a fun experience.
"You feel it in you. Me as a worker, I could feel when someone isn't having the best of their day, or when someone just wants something that fills up their hearts. Not only do I feel it, but see it too. Some people act a certain way, that shows who they are inside" Taehyung confusingly let his words get into his mind.
"Did..I show some movements?" Jin shooked his head no. Now that confused Taehyung even more than the word confused, than why did he give his order free?
"Some people just give out because they want to. They might not have a reason, but a feeling that they want to. Humans are all different, some might not have that feeling, others will, we just got to see which one we are" he smiled as he continue to satisfy his tastebuds with the ice cream. As Taehyung settled all the words into his mind, he thought, had he ever done anything for anyone else?
He sighed, finishing his ice cream as he continued to stare at Jin. He for sure was something else.
"Am I that beautiful for you to stare at me?" Caught red handed, Taehyung blushed as he looked away, making Jin laugh as he finished the last bites of his cone, wiping his mouth with a napkin. Taehyung didn't want to admit but Jin was right, he was too beautiful for his own eyes.
"Who said I was staring at you.." Jin smirked, he could see Tae's eyes directly looking at him. No one else was behind him other than the wall.
"Make sure to wipe that salva off of your mouth" Taehyung wanted to dig a hole and put himself inside of it and never come out. Jin had caught him twice in embarrassment and he didn't even know how he was still alive at this moment.
They stood up front their chairs, leaving the shop as they walked side by side. It was quiet, but a comfortable quietness, staring off into the view as they both smiled. It seemed everything was back to how it used to be, and Taehyung loved it. He apologized to Jin, Jin forgave him, they ate ice cream, everything seemed like a dream.
"Tae?" Taehyung hummed as he looked to Jin, who kept looking in front. The bouquet of tulips still held in Jin's hand as he stopped, looking at Taehyung with a smile.
"What do you think of going to the movies?" Like a date or..?..kidding..,Taehyung smiled, the movies sounded like a great idea.
"Scary?"
"Hell no" Taehyung laughed, he would just have to not tell Jin which one.
...
The movie seemed like a fun time for Taehyung, as for Jin, his heart almost came out of his body with his soul. He couldn't count how many times he screamed throughout the whole movie that he forgot what it was even about.
"Ya! How dare you take me to watch Conjuring! I swear I'm not forgiving you for this!" Jin hit Tae's back, who continued to laugh as he remembered the funny faces Jin made through the screams. Jin was pissed, one as Tae didn't tell him what movie they were watching, and two, trying to hide the fact that he was scared to death.
"Come on hyung~ your face was funny" Taehyung smiled, pinching Jin's cheeks as Jin only pouted while his arms were folded. He huffed as he turned away from Taehyung, Tae smiling more as Jin acted like he was the one who was younger than Tae.
"What's there to be scared about hyung? You have me by your side to protect you!" Taehyung said proudly, only to be pinched in the nipples to scream in pain. Jin quickly walked away as Taehyung, holding his nipples in pain, walked quickly by his side.
"Hyung~ forgive your younger~" Jin shook his head no. He didn't want to speak to him. He was too afraid to do so. As he continued to walk away, Tae quickly grabbed him by the hand and pulled him next to him, shocking him as his eyes went full wide.
"No! I'm not forgiving you! Hmph!" Jin crossed his arms as Taehyung only kept quiet with a smile. He hugged Jin with his arms, wrapping them around Jin's waist as he placed his chin on his shoulders. For some reason, he felt like hugging him.
"Ya, your head is heavy~" Jin whined as all Taehyung did, was stay silent. Jin noticed the atmosphere, it was calm, peaceful, relaxing. He held out his arms up, placing them on Taehyung as he hugged him back.
"Jump" what? Jin stared at Taehyung, who's eyes were closed at the moment.
"Jump?" In a second, Taehyung quickly made Jin get off the ground and carry him, surprising Jin as he was not expecting anything like this. As Taehyung carried him, they walked to a small park, Jin calming down as he began to enjoy the view.
Taehyung walked to the same small bench they sat before, sitting down as he had placed Jin next to him. He held his hand, pretending it was a normal thing as Jin couldn't help but stare at him. He didn't mind all the hand holding nor the carrying around or the buying food, he loved all of it, from the beginning to the end.
"Hyung..uh.." Taehyung looked around as his emotions couldn't bring himself to say anything. Jin waited for a response, but nothing came out.
"Yeah?"
"Do you want to go to the fair with me?" Jin smiled, he loved the fair, mostly if it was with Taehyung. He chuckled as he saw Tae's face, red and shy, making him feel laughter in him.
"Why not"
