I know I know its the second week in a row but I was sick yesterday and last week I just never got the chance. I really am sorry! Just a warning, its a little bloody!

Stepping off the dirt road Sophia and John followed reluctantly behind the women. John was very  suspicious of this women, how truthful can she really be? What if Samuel is behind this and is leading them into a trap? Before he could choose what what true and what was false Sophia spoke up saying that she had forgotten something on the road and asked John to help her find it. Knowing that it was only a way to talk to her alone John followed behind her.

"Do you think Samuel could have anything to do with this?"

 "I know."

Pursing her lips Sophia thought carefully before she spoke. "No one would ever be that caring to new comers. We should be viewed as outcasts."

"So what can we do?"

"I think what would be smart is to leave her. She already told us where my mothers house is, all we have to do is follow her instructions."

"Unless they were false."

"Why would they be if she doesn't think we will be getting anywhere anyway? Plus I think she would try to stick to the truth as much as possible. Its less of a chance of messing up your lies."

"Lets leave now, before she gets suspicio-..." Before John could finish something smashed into his head knocking him out cold. Sophia tried to build up a scream but before she could get it out a hand clamped over her mouth and dragged her and John into the forest. Completely blind Sophia started thrashing against the arms wrapped tightly around her.

Before she could free herself she was smacked hard across the face. Surprise was the only thing she could think about until she formed a coherent thought and realized who was holding her so tightly. He was following them this entire time. Not once had they been alone and it was only now that she was realizing her mistake. She had let her guard down a great deal and now she would pay for it. Why for a moment would she think that Samuel wasn't with them this entire time?!?! It fits him perfectly. His selfish and cold hearted behavior, but one thing was for sure, and that was that he is persistent.  He never gave up, and thinking back on it Sophia didn't know if this was good or bad.

"Ah Sophia."

"God darn you!" Yelled Sophia so infuriated it was the only thing she could think about. She couldn't remember why she was  here or what her purpose was, not even about John. All she could think about how badly she wanted to kill the man in front of her. How deep down in her bones Samuel had changed her. He made her harder and full of blood lust. He made her into a murder.

Anger flared up inside Samuel and wanted to show Sophia pain. What real pain felt like. So he did the only think he knew that would kill her. He let her go and picked up John punching and kicking him as he went. A small scream escaped her lips. Not knowing what to do Sophia jumped onto Samuels back and started punching him in the head. She now wished she had a knife but it was to late. John was the only one that had a knife and he was out cold. Samuel pushed her off easily and before she could fight back Samuel had a knife at Johns neck and a small smile plastered on his face.

"Take one more step and I will kill him." Nodding slightly Sophia did as he said, knowing that it was the only way to keep him alive. "Good girl."

"Dont hurt him," Sophia plead knowing that she sounded weak but couldn't keep herself from trying.

"I cant promise that. This child took away my pride and now I shall regain it. Its only fair. A life for a life."

"What are you giving up?"

"I never did anything in the first place so why should I pay. I am just gaining what is rightfully mine." Sophia snarled throwing herself at Samuel, but before she could reach him Samuel brought the knife farther in and started to draw blood.

"If you are going to kill him just do it."

"You must pay as well. You left me and this is your punishment. So I will do what I wish. So where should I start? His legs and work my way up? Or maybe hands first.

Edging the knife lower Samuel dropped the now bloody John onto the forest floor. Why is he not waking up? Thought Sophia. Samuel made his way over to Sophia picking her up and walking over to a tree directly in front of John. Taking out a piece of rope Samuel tied up Sophia making sure her hands were in no position to be able to free themselves.

"Good, see how easy things are when we dont fight," said Samuel in a dark voice that sent chills up Sophia's spine.

Walking back over to John Samuel picked up his own knife on the way. Sophia shut her eyes tightly not wanting to see the horrifying pictures in front of her. But she couldn't do anything about the rips of flesh. Wishing that she could untie her hands so she could cover her ears Sophia opened her eyes a small bit and wished she hadn't. Lying before her was Johns body ripped and bloody. If Samuel didn't kill him soon he would be sure to die from loss of blood. But the most horrifying sight was not his body but his face, his eyes to be exact. Carved onto his eyelids were small little X's, as if showing that he was as good as dead. Standing up Samuel made his way over to Sophia where silent tears were running down her face.

"I will let you live, sister," said Samuel in a voice that was cold. "You have had your punishment and I will leave you be. My work here is done."

"My work here is done? You make it sound like it is justified to kill someone for no reason other than pride. Thats sick."

"I could change my mind anytime about keeping you alive." Although his voice was hard she knew he would never do it. Leaving her lover-less was worse than her being dead.

"I might just take you up on that offer." Before he could react Sophia ran by Samuel and found the knife in the leaves. Picking it up she though of all the ways to kill him. But it was best to make it fast if she wanted to make sure he was dead and not just hurt. So putting as much force on it as she could she threw the knife straight at his heart. It hit exactly where it was meant to and made a sound of impact. Samuels eyes widened as he fell to the ground. Sophia ran to him and stabbed him multiple times to make sure he was dead. But it didn't matter, the first one did the trick and the rest were just a wasted effort. Pulling away the bloody knife she made her way back over to John where she could here his shallow breathing.

"Sophia?" Asked John in a hoarse voice.

"Shhh dont hurt yourself."

"Sophia, remember the numbers. Fight for me and avenge her death. Make it my dying wish."

"I will, dont you worry. "

"I love you."

"I love you to." But before she could finish, his eyes closed for the last time.

Swallowing a sob Sophia stood and planted a light kiss on Johns lips. Walking away she remembered where she had to go from here and how she couldn't stop until she got it. It was Johns dying wish and she couldn't stop until she fulfilled it...
