John sat with a knife pointed at his heart. Joe his best friend had betrayed him. For a cold hearted monster. Sir Samuel stood before him. A hard smirk plastered on his face.

"John. Did you know that this was the same place your sister died?" Inquired Sir Samuel.

"I did know that. I also know she was killed by you. A cold blooded monster."

"Oh Johnathan. You are going to die today. One way or another you will die."

"And why must I ask will I die today?"

"You must die. You betrayed yourself to the people. To your people."

"How dare you speak of betrayal before me! You were the one that betrayed. You betrayed Mary! You told her that you loved her! But now I know every kiss every little sign of affection was fake! You are a fake! A fraud. A murderer."

"Yes I may be all of those things. But there is one thing that I poses that you haven't."

"And what is that?"

"The vote."

"What vote?"

"Oh Johnathan you are not fast are you. I was the one that told all the towns people of the women that lives up in that house. But why would they listen to me if I just told them to go kill her? They wouldn't. So I told them it was a witch. A witch that lives up in that house. And so they were more than willing to help. As long as they benefit. But they also know that you and Mary knew the women. Why would they take any chances? So they took Mary to me. And that's what your friend Joe did."

"But you also know that I did nothing wrong."

"Ah yes. But if I don't dispose of you they wont believe that that women is a witch."

"And how does this have to do with any vote?"

"There are judges in town. Even if I don't kill you now they will bring you to court and will find you guilty. They will kill you. So either way you will die."

"And if I dont?"

"Than I will personally hunt you down until I have justice."

"Well I guess you will have a lot of hunting."

With that John jumped up and kicked the knife out of Samuel's hand. He ran. He ran as if his life depended on it. And it did readers. It did...
