The moment after Theseus Scamander left,Madaline's followers began to attack the Ministry workers. Gellert however didn't stay he left to see if he could find the book with the information about the rings of Aliamrod. He knew he read about them before, but where? Gellert apperated straight back to Nurmengard and began to pull books off the shelf in a frantic search for the information he needed. Gellert had the feeling he knew what happed when the rings where used,but he didn't want to believe it.

Finally he found the book and read the passage
"The rings of Aliamrod are two very powerful rings of legend, that are said when brought together by two people who share the same dream,the rings can alter the very fabric of reality" Gellert apperated back to the Ministry to get Matthew. The place was now a mess,people where hurt,some where dead and there where holes everywhere. Gellert caught sight of Matthew.

"Matthew" Gellert called
"Grindelwald,have you found my sister?" Matthew asks
"No I  haven't, but we have to move fast" Gellert says,he grabs ahold of Matthew's arm and apperated,only there is a shock wave that hits them and knocks them back to the Ministry
"What the heck was that?"Matthew asks
"Reality has been changed" Gellert tells him,the Ministry is now empty,dark and covered in cobwebs.

"What happened here?" Matthew asks looking around him
"The rings of Aliamrod have the power to alter reality, which I'm guessing has now happened"Gellert explained" We must have escaped as we where in mid apperation"
"Now what?"
"We go home and figure out what to do from there" Gellert says,the two appertae back to Nurmengard,only there is no castle only snow.

Gellert took out his wand and cast spells over the land but no castle was detected anywhere
"There is nothing here" Matthew says,Gellert sat on a fallen tree and put his head in his hands as everything that hand happened sunk in. He had no wife and nothing to remember her by but his memory. Everything Y/n had kept of there life together had gone. Matthew carefully approached the blonde
"We can't give up now"

"AND WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST WE DO?" Gellert shouts"Look around you,I have no wife,no home and nothing to remember my wife"
"But you have the book" Matthew says
"That book can't do fuck all" Gellert says,he threw the book only for it to hit something
"Hang on that book hit something, but there is nothing there" Matthew says
"Who bloody cares" Gellert says,strangely enough a door opens out of nowhere and a strangely dressed man steps out.

The young man looks at the two wizards and says
"Hello did you knock" the man says in a cheery tone
"Er no we didn't,just threw a book" Matthew says
"Oh...okay then" the man says "Hold on" the man licks his pointer finger and puts it into the air"Hmm"he then kneels and scoops up some snow and sniffs it before eating it.

"Just as I thought" the man says
"Er what are you doing?" Matthew asks
"This world has been altered"the man says
"Yeah,how did you know?" Matthew asks
"No time to explain, come with me now,both of you" the man says going back over to the door
"Coming Grindelwald?" Matthew asks
"Sure let's follow the weirdo in the bow tie,that came from fucking nowhere" Gellert says sarcastically
"Hold up,who are you?" Matthew asks the man
"Hello I'm the Doctor."
