Three Weeks Later...
This is an absolute disaster! Actually, no. Disaster is an understatement. The better word to use would probably be calamity. Yep, that is probably more accurate. I was currently sitting outside the principal's office with Tanya in my sports uniform with damp hair after having to attempt to wash it in the sink.
If my dad found out about this... he would not be happy. Harvey would probably think it was pretty funny but the thing is, it wasn't my fault. I never started it. Surely they would see that. But Tanya was my friend. I couldn't really just throw her under the bus even though it was sort of her fault. But you know what they say, if one of us goes down, we both go down, or something like that.
"You gotta admit it was pretty hilarious," Tanya muttered to me.
"Hilarious? I ended up headfirst in a bin!" I whisper-yelled.
"Like I said, hilarious," Tanya smiled, gasping out laughter at the memory. "But tell me you at least saw Anastasia's face. It was priceless!"
"Of course I saw her face," I admitted with a straight face, only letting out a smile and a laugh when I side glanced over at Tanya.
"Miss Sorrell. Miss Gordon. Headmaster Lindsay will see you both now," the headmaster's secretary told us with a stern face.
Tanya and I shared a glance before we followed the secretary into the headmaster's office. She instructed that we take a seat opposite his desk and wait in silence.
Our headmaster was an older man whose hair was already greying and wrinkles were starting to form across his tanned forehead. He wore a grey suit that had clearly been through the wash one too many times as the original colour was slowly disappearing.
"Now, ladies. I trust you understand why you are here today," Headmaster Lindsay said, looking up from his desk and wringing his hands together on the desk.
"Yes, sir," I answered while Tanya nodded.
"Good, that makes this a whole lot easier. So... tell me exactly what happened..."

One Hour Ago...
After an exhausting English lesson all about a bunch of poems I will probably never see again in my life, I trudged my way through to the canteen. Usually I make my own lunch for school but this morning I overslept due to the fact that Selina and I had been training until late into the night. So as I took the tray of spaghetti Bolognese from the dinner lady, I eyed Tanya sitting at a table across the room.
As I was about to walk over to her, my English teacher from before approached me.
"Miss Gordon, I believe this is yours," Miss Taylor informed me, holding up my notebook from class.
"Oh, thank you," I smiled, taking the notebook. "I didn't realise I had left it."
"That's quite alright. You're doing very well this year, Holly," Miss Taylor said, giving me a small smile before walking away.
I hadn't even taken a single step when a loud scream echoed across the hall. Freezing in my tracks, my eyes trailed over to where I had heard the scream and landed on Anastasia. My eyes widened when I saw that she currently had a massive clump of spaghetti Bolognese stuck in her hair.
"YOU LITTLE—" Anastasia began but was cut off when another load of spaghetti went flying into her face this time.
The whole room fell silent as everyone tried to find the culprit and from the proud smirk on her face, I had a feeling that Tanya may or may not be the one everyone should be looking at. Tanya looked up at me and gave me a wink when we made eye contact.
