A/N A bit of a shorter chapter this week. Sorry about that.

Third Person POV
Wayne Manor

No answers was not an option for Bruce on daily task but with this, with the whole truth behind his father at stake, he would not stop until something appeared that satisfied his curiosity. While Holly would usually be the one helping chuck the entirety of his father's floor to ceilings bookshelf books on the floor, it was Alfred who had had to step in for the day.

After Bruce had called and explained the whole book situation to Holly, she had agreed to come and join them on their search after she was done with Barbara's therapy, however long that would take.

"What exactly are we looking for, Master Bruce?" Alfred asked after over an hour of silence as they moved books onto the table, floor, sofas and pretty much any surface they could find.

"When I find it, I'll know," Bruce answered very helpfully.

Staring at Bruce in disbelief, Alfred sighed to himself and continued to move the very ordinary books out of the way. As he did so, he wondered just how Holly could share this same enthusiasm, if she had been present. That led Alfred to come to one conclusion, Holly and Bruce were like two peas in a pod. A pod that Alfred would happily stay away from ... so long as it was a safe pod, of course.

After driving for what felt like hours, the hijacked ambulance finally found Falcone's safe warehouse that was deserted and a good place to hide out for a while. By the time they arrived, though, the ambulance was littered with bullet holes across every inch of the red vehicle. Though as Jim drove the hospital into the warehouse, his daughter's phone call playing on his mind, he noticed a set of chains hanging from a wooden structure right in front of him.

"Nobody knows about this place, right? Nobody?" Harvey asked as Jim and Falcone jumped out of the ambulance.

"Nobody. Anybody who did is dead," Falcone assured him while Jim went into the back of the ambulance and dragged-out Penguin and Butch, who were still handcuffed together. "We'll be safe here."

The funny thing about irony is that it tends to show up when you least want it to; No sooner had the words left Falcone's lips did a familiar face enter the room with a gun in hand and a smirk playing on her lips. She was the bitter face of Irony.

"Hello," Selina said, tilting her head slightly. "What's up?"

Seconds later, the rattling of a warehouse door caught everyone's attention. On entrance from the right of the building was none other than Fish Mooney, who, for several months now was believed to be dead.

Behind her, was a small army of people, who were unrecognised by Falcone and he was someone who knew pretty much everyone that had been in Fish's ranks before she disappeared.

"I know, I know. It's astonishing. Sometimes I astonish myself," Fish said with a smile as they came to a stop not too far from Jim's group.

There wasn't a single person present who knew what to say or do as the rest of Fish's crew flanked her, emotionless and armoured for a fight. Betrayal came in many forms and this ... this was the most painful of them all. The trust and love you once had for someone no longer means anything ... it is no longer the bond that holds you together.

Holly POV
Barbara's Penthouse

This whole thing did feel slightly unorthodox. Having never had therapy myself, I wasn't sure that having your ex-fiancé's daughter sitting in on it was entirely normal. But I knew that I needed to be here for Barbara. After what she went through, I didn't want her to be alone again.
