A/N
Ok, so I know that this is a story about Holly Gordon, but I have added a lot of other scenes that don't involve her at all. This is simply for context and information about others. Also, this is because at the minute there isn't really much that can be done with her. Hopefully, in a few more episodes she will appear more often and the chapters will be mainly focused around her.
Today was the day of the Wayne's funeral and dad thought it would be the right thing to do to go and see the Wayne boy.
We weren't going to go for long but just to make sure that he knew the truth about how they had caught the Wayne killer.
When we got there, everyone was leaving the main ceremony including Bruce Wayne. It was heartbreaking to see him looking so hurt and miserable. He saw us too and came over and stopped in front of us.
"You kept your promise. Thank you," Bruce said to my dad.
"I'm sorry you didn't see a trial," dad apologised.
"That's okay," Bruce said before handing his hand out for dad to shake. Of course dad shook it immediately.
When Bruce walked passed us, I gave him a small smile to which he reciprocated with a teary nod. Alfred Pennyworth gave us a short nod of his head as he followed behind Bruce with his hands held behind his back.
"Poor kid," I muttered to myself then looked over at my dad. "At least you found the killer."
"Yeah. I guess he now has some sort of closure," dad agreed.
"That's one word for it," Bullock scoffed behind us.
"At least it's a start," I added.

Third Person POV
After finding out that Mario Pepper had been framed for the Wayne's murder and killed because of it, Jim returned to the Pepper apartment to speak to Mario's wife.
He knocked on the door and waited for her to open it. When she did, he was shocked to see that the left side of her face was covered in bruises.
"Mrs. Pepper."
"Go away," She immediately said, trying to shut the door in Jim's face.
"Ma'am, if your husband was innocent, you need to talk to me," Jim begged her, stopping the door from shutting and walking into her house when she hesitantly moved to the side.
He shut the door behind him so that there was no eavesdropping neighbours. In the corner of the room by a big green plant stood the young Pepper child, Ivy.
"If your husband didn't kill the Waynes, how'd he come to have Martha Wayne's necklace?" Jim asked.
"You bastards planted it on him?" Mrs. Pepper suggested.
