Ok, so a little explanation for the next couple chapters. They are going to be sort of filler chapters. Here is what I mean. As in the show, after episode ten, there was a break of several months until the spring before they carried on (I'm not 100% sure why) but I thought this would be a good idea to go off plot of the show and focus on Holly a bit more (if that makes sense). It'll have a bit of structure, like happening chronologically, but it won't be as it is in other chapters where it all flows. These next couple chapters will be more like a montage of a sort. So... let's get into it.

Life in Gotham has been no less than absolute chaos since I have been here. There hasn't really ever been a time where nothing has been happening and especially now with dad working at Arkham Asylum, things were even more hectic. Dad had been appointed to work at Arkham by the Mayor after he found out dad was somehow involved in the death of this man called Dick Lovecraft. After explaining it to me, it was obvious to anyone that it was not dad's fault. Not that the mayor seemed to care but dad refused to quit and was working hard at the Asylum.

This meant that dad was a lot busier than before as Arkham was practically on the other side of the city from the Penthouse. He had to work a lot of nights so I was often alone, well, that's when Selina around mine and raiding my fridge and keeping me company. Not that I was complaining. But seeing as I was still living in Barbara's Penthouse, even though she wasn't here, I decided it was time to start looking into other places for me and dad to stay. I was yet to find anywhere that dad and I could live at but I was still looking and when dad was off for the day we had planned to look around.

That was four months ago now.

Time in the last few months has flown by so quickly it almost felt like it never happened. But it definitely did.

And boy, has it been fun...

Four Months Ago...

Oh, my God! I think I am actually losing my mind. I swear to all things above, if anyone asks that question again I might just stab myself in the eye with a plastic spoon. Ever since I arrived back at school after the holidays, the talk of every class was that of our escape from the assassins. Not only that, but everyone was fascinated that I had become friends with the Bruce Wayne. And the amount of people who had asked me if I was dating him was enough to make me want to cut my ears off.

When I walked into our homeroom the next morning, I could tell that it was taking our teacher everything she had to not call me up to the front of the class and give everyone a story time on it. Luckily, Tanya wasn't mad at me about this one as I explained that I hadn't been able to grab my phone in time. She pardoned me for that.

On the other hand, people were also talking about the mayor's cock-and-bull story about the Lovecraft suicide. No one really believed what the mayor had announced, but still they didn't really over think it. But the coolest thing that happened, even though I had no idea how it had gotten out, is when someone in the year above me who I had never spoken to before came up to me and told me how much of a badass my dad was. Now that was something I wasn't mad about hearing.

Three Months Ago...

Dad was working again. He had been called into the Asylum at 4 o'clock this morning as they were shortly staffed for the morning shift. He was meant to be working the evening shift as well so he was gonna be there for the whole day. So once again I was alone. And what do you do when you're alone? You do your homework like a sad little kid. But when you add a bit of music into the background, I guess you can minus the sadness from the occasion. I had planned to do it today anyway so it didn't really make that much difference to my plans.
