This is going to be my second Wattpad book ever! I'm so excited to see where this one leads, and hopefully y'all will be along for the journey!

By the way this book is all fiction. Nothing in here pertains to real life story! It's all from my imagination!

Enjoy 😊

"We know you did it! We have all the evidence to put you away Mr. Elrond," shouts a frustrated blonde man. "Speak already. Tell the truth!"

"He's losing him," I say, rubbing my temples in annoyance.

"Nova, just give him a minute," says Kieran, the most annoying lieutenant you'll ever meet.

"Kieran, he's been in there for 40 goddamn minutes, and hasn't been able to get a single word out of him!" I state.

"It's Mr. Katz to you," he glares.

"Sorry," I tense my jaw. "Mr. Katz, may I please go into the interrogation room and do what needs to be done."

Kieran studied my eyes diligently before tossing his arms in the air.

"Why not," he huffs.

Kieran presses the blue button and speaks into the mic that is connected to our earbuds.

"Daniel, out. Nova is going to try now."

I heard Daniel let out a small grunt before swiftly moving up from out of his chair, and swinging the integration door open.

He walks out of the room, and his eyes fall on to me.

"Good luck in there," he says in a half smile.

"I don't need luck," I say, walking past him.

I quickly clear my throat, then open the door gently as I put on a soft smile. It didn't look too forced, and most of the time worked in my favour whenever I smiled at the suspects.

"Hi um, sorry Mr. Elrond seems too formal. What's your name?" I ask, taking a seat across from the disheveled young man.

When he looked at me his eyes widened, and he began to bounce his leg up and down.

"You don't have to be nervous. I'm here because I just wanted to get your part of the story. I don't think it's fair to arrest someone without knowing their side, right?" I say, tilting my head ever so slightly to nudge him in the direction to respond.

"I agree," he nods, nervously. "My names Dean."

"Dean," I repeat. "So before we get started, would you like anything to eat, or drink?"

"A glass of water please," he says.

"Of course," I smile.

I get up from the chair, and leave the room. I grab him a cup of water, and place it in front of him. I wanted his DNA, for evidence, so that's was why I asked if he wanted anything to drink.

"So Dean," I say, watching him grab the cup and take a sip.

"Great job," I hear Kieran say through the mic.

"What happened on the night of the murder? Where were you?"

"I- I can't remember," he says, looking to his left.

Stupid boy.
His body language was so easy to read.

"You can't remember? Were you drunk perhaps?"
