Third Person POV
Irene stood, watching the horizon, as she saw that F.A.C.E. was now activated.
'This is not good...' She thought to herself, before her brows furrowed in seriousness.
She turned and looked at her group members, who held the same expression as her.
"My Lady... is it time?" Sora asks.
"Yes." Irene replied.
"Let's go." She told them, whilst they nodded.
"Hai!" They all said in unison.
{Earlier}
Wendy continued to lay on the ground, battered and bruised, indicating that she was clearly not in a good condition.
'This can't be the end... Can it?' She thought.
She felt Ezel press his tail against her, causing Wendy to feel a lot of pain.
Carla then rushed towards him, and began to scratch him.
"Let go of Wendy!" She shouted.
"Carla, stop! It's no use!" Wendy shouts, but Carla ignores her.
"Let her go!" She shouted yet again.
Ezel began to reach his hand out, which did not go unnoticed by Wendy.
"Carla, fly away!" She shouted at the exceed, tears developing in her eyes.
"What is this cat? Are you edible?" Ezel questions, taking a hold of Carla.
"Don't! Please!" Wendy pleaded.
Ezel then brought Carla closer to his mouth.
"No!" Wendy shouts, whilst letting out a blood-curdling scream.
"Wendy, the air..." Carla says, causing her eyes to widen in realization.
'The air... Fresh air... A high concentration of Ethernanos floating in the air near F.A.C.E... This is why the air felt so fresh. If I can get them in my body, I can unlock Dragon Force, just like Irene-sense told me about...' Wendy thought to herself.
Wendy then proceeded to bring the highly concentrated air around her body, allowing her to attain Dragon Force.
Wendy's eyes turned pink along with her having longer hair, now pink instead of blue, that curves and points upwards. She also had white scales, similar to that of Grandeeney's, that spring out of her back, and smaller ones on her hands and feet.
The air continued to swirl intensely around her.
'I can hear the voice of the wind... I sense the pulse of the air... Right now...' Her thoughts trailed off.
"I control this space!" She announced.
She began to move at a fast pace, appearing behind Ezel, and punched him in the back.
He turned and tried to activate his curse, but she was too fast for him to keep up with.
Appearing behind him yet again, she punched his back a second time, with an air infused fist, a spell known as "Sky Dragon's Iron Fist".
This hit sent him flying back, his body collided with the wall.
The rubble cleared, whilst the Etherious shot out of the ground, rushing towards the young dragon slayer.
