Chapter 9 : Improvement (Part 3)

Third Person POV

{Seven Weeks Later}

There Wendy stood, on top of the Mountain, as her hair flowed with the breeze. It has been about two months since she came to Mt. Fujiko.

Her magic had improved greatly, she was still trying to work on her Healing Magic as well.

Wendy saw something glow from behind her, as she turned and saw Irene standing before her.

"I see that you've finished your training." Irene said, as Wendy nodded.

"Yes, my magic has gotten a lot better." She told Irene.

"I see…. Well, are you ready to go?" She asked Wendy.

"Yes." Was all that the girl replied, before they both step through the portal, and it closes behind them.

Both Irene and Wendy now stood at their training spot. Wendy turned and looked at Irene with confusion.

"Miss Irene, what are we doing here?" She asks.

"Though I can tell your magic power has indeed increased, I want to test and see how much you have grown in the past two months." Irene explained to her.

"Oh, well, what is it that you want me to do, Miss Irene?" Wendy asks her.
"I want you to fight me, Wendy." There was a moment of silence as Wendy looked at her with a shocked expression.

"Erm- Miss Irene, why do I have to f-fight you?" She asked her, Wendy wasn't going to lie and say she wasn't scared, because she sure as hell was.

"I want you to fight me. So, that way, I can see your improvement." She explains to the girl.

"Oh…." Was all that she said.

"Now, then, are you ready to get started?" Irene asks.

Wendy thought for a second, before shaking her head, as she furrowed her brows in determination.

"Yes!" She answered.

Irene could feel a small smile grow onto her face. "Very well then, I will warn you, dear, that I will not hold back." Irene told her, as she nodded.

Irene and Wendy stood there for a brief moment, before Wendy began to breathe in the air.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!" A large quantity of air came towards Irene in the form of a tornado-like blast.

However, Irene didn't try to dodge, instead she countered her attack.

"Sage Dragon's Roar!" That's when a stream of flames was released from Irene's mouth, as it managed to overpower Wendy's roar attack, and made an impact on her.

This sent her flying back, as she tumbled across the ground. Until she finally managed to get back up.

"Ile Vernier!" Wendy chanted, as a baby-blue aura surrounded her.

This time she was much faster, as she rushed towards Irene yet again.

"Sky Dragon's Claw!" That's when large winds came towards Irene, as Wendy swung her leg down on her.

Irene managed to dodge the spell, as she then proceeded to attack Wendy.

"Sage Dragon's Fist!" Rocks then surrounded Irene fist, as she went and punched Wendy in the face, the girl tried to block the attack, but failed miserably.
