Cop and 5up

Cop aka David moved onto the Skeld. It was a fairly small ship with a small crew as well. It definitely wasn't like Talias ship, which was rather large and consisted of a medium sized crew. Hafu greeted him

"Hello, you must be David right?" She asked, the name reminding her of her husband. He smiled and nodded at her.

"Right. But people tend to call me Cop. You're Hafu?"

"Mhm. Come on. I'll show you around the Skeld," she said. Cop followed her to a room. He shot a glance at her.

"Right now you'll have your own room. Currently, Dakotaz is my second in command, my normal one has been transferred," Hafu explained.

"Thanks. When do I meet the crew?"

"Whenever. My room is right down the hall, don't worry. Dakotaz is next to you, Koji is across from him. Janet and Kimi are across from me,"

"How many people can fit on this ship?"

"Technically it's a 10 person ship. Each room is supposed to have two people. But we only have a six person crew at the moment," she explained. Cop smiled.

"Well then. Guess I'll meet the crew after I unpack,"

"I'll be in navigation if you need anything. Dakotaz should be in electrical," she said and left. David started to slowly unpack his things.

5up was talking to Janet. Waiting for the inevitable. For the dropship to come collect him.

"I still can't believe Toast would do that to you," Janet said. 5up shrugged. He knew he didn't get an option when Hafu had told him.

"Yeah well, what can you do about it?" He said, a soft laugh coming from him. He honestly didn't mind changing crews, as long as the people were nice. And Toast wouldn't put him in a dangerous crew, right?

A dropship docked and A man walked in. He flashed 5up a smile. 5up felt tense for some reason and glanced at Janet

"I'm xQc. 5up?" He asked. The pink man nodded. He was as ready as he could be. There was no turning back now.

"Yup. Bye Janet. Tell Hafu that I'll be in contact," he said and turned, following xQc out of the Skeld and onto a dropship. Another man sat there, he stared at 5up and gave a small smile. Clearly not happy to be there.

"5up, this is Apollo. You two will be partners on the ship," xQc explained. 5up nodded and sat down next to the tall man.

"Forced to leave?" He asked with a cocked eyebrow. The man nodded. He took a breath and spoke

"What do you think? I was on Chilleds ship," Apollo responded, a small smile forming on his face. He was forcing it there though.

"Yeah, I just left my twin sister. She wasn't to happy with Toast. Wonder why he chose us," 5up said and looked to Apollo. The man shrugged.

"I don't know. I was second there so it was a weird choice," he said. 5up gave him a smile. It was very weird that both seconds had been chosen

"I agree. I was second on mine to. Wonder what Toast was thinking?" 5up said. Apollo found himself laughing as they felt the ship docking. xQc looked to them.

"We're here. Grab your stuff," he said. "Oh, I didn't forget to mention this but you have to change your colors," he said. 5up and Apollo both stared in shock.

"Wait what?" 5up said. He likes his pink color and didn't want to change. Apollo just kinda stared, not caring enough to argue

"Well, someone already has pink and someone else has green," xQc said. Apollo finally spoke.

"What colors are open?" He asked. xQc smiled at him, happy he wasn't complaining.

"Yellow and orange," he said simply. 5up glanced at Apollo, unsure of what color he wanted.

"I don't care what color I am. 5up?" He asked. 5up shrugged and decided to be yellow like his sister.

"I'll be yellow. Apollo, you ok with orange?" He asked, wanting to make sure that the man didn't care. Apollo smiled and 5up saw his sharp teeth. He made a mental note to ask about it later

"Yeah I'm fine. I don't care," he said easily. 5up could already tell he was laid back but obviously kinda closed off.

"Alright. I'll get your suits to you as soon as possible," xQc replied and someone walked up.

"Hey guys! I'm Connor," he said. xQc flashed a smile to the boy. He wore a green suit, obviously the one who took Apollo's color.

"Hey. This is 5up, who will take the yellow color, and this is Apollo, he'll take orange. Go tell Moxy," xQc said. Conner nodded and walked away

xQc showed them to a room, one that they would share. Two beds, each pushed into separate corners. Two dressers there as well.

Neither boy spoke as they started to unpack their shit. 5up finally did speak up though.

"You seem nervous," he said gently. Apollo looked over to him and shrugged.

"I've never really done anything like this. Especially not without Chilled or the crew with me,"

"I've never been apart from my sister like this. At least us new guys have each other right?" 5up said with a soft laugh.

Apollo nodded and seemed to relax every time they spoke.

"Yeah. You aren't planning on leaving are you?" Apollo asked him. 5up shrugged.

"I don't know. Guess we'll see how this crew is," 5up responded.

"Yeah. I don't know. Think it will be a good crew?"

"No way Toast would stick a dangerous crew in the corporation. I grew up with him. He was super close to my sister," 5up explained. A laugh came from Apollo

"Lucky you. Guess we should go meet the crew," Apollo mumbled. 5up sighed and nodded.

They left the room and started to head to the entrance area. They did meet the crew. But the crew seemed off.

Neither payed any attention to it though

From here on out, prepare for a shit show of basically angst...
