Fundy was left with a task he hated, calling Sapnap. And he knew that Sapnap wouldn't be happy, and couldn't even come to Mira. Sapnap was on the missing crew's case, trying to find the Skelds team.
Fundy blamed himself. It was his idea to send off the pulse, and now Karl was suffering because of it. But Fundy grabbed his tablet and got ready to do the one thing he dreaded.
But he made the call. Sapnap answered and Fundy could tell he looked tired, Dream and George stood next to him, making the foxes' job that much harder. Karl had always been close to the dream team
"Fundy, what's up?" Sapnap asked. Dream slid his arm around George's waist as if to remind him what had happened. Fundy basically ignored him. But he couldn't ignore that reason he called them
"Sapnap, please don't freak out. There was a n accident with Karl and-" Fundy started to say. He was cut off when Sapnap spoke the next words
"Please tell me he's not dead," Sapnap begged, unsure what he would do if Karl was dead. Fundy shook his head
"He isn't. But he doesn't have his memories. Tina and Tubbo-" he started to explain. Sapnap snapped to attention and hissed
"What the hell happened that he lost his memories?!" Fundy flinched a little at the tone and went to speak. Dream made an attempt to calm down his partner
"Sapnap calm down-" Dream started to say. Sapnap growled at him
"Calm down?! My boyfriend is in the medbay with no memories and I can't even go fucking see him!" He snapped. Dream flinched at the sound of his friend
"Sapnap-" George started to say. Sapnap stormed out of the room in anger, tears threatening to fall from his eyes. He ducked into one of the rooms on the Skeld and wiped the tears from his eyes.
He stared at the ring on his finger, one of the promise rings they had. He was about to just start bawling then and there, but he stopped himself.
How could this have happened? Karl with no memories? Did he even remember himself?
He had been told that Karl was fine. That they stopped his time traveling. Did they lie?
Maybe something had gone wrong. Sapnap couldn't believe that Karl didn't remember anything. Sapnap was shattered. The door opened and Dream came in. He sat down next to Sapnap and the Texan buried his face into his friends neck. Heartbroken because of Karl
