Going home

The bench trio completed the mission with ease. They returned back to Mira, where Tommy would head back the next morning.

Ranboo went to go shower quickly and Tubbo looked over to Tommy

"He needs to go with you," Tubbo said, it was the first time the boys had been alone in a while and Tommy gave him a confused look

"Ranboo? Back to the airship?" Tubbo nodded

"Yeah. He's just...not himself. He needs everyone up there," Tubbo said. Tommy's face filled with concern, for a teenager who pretended not to care, he cared a lot

"Isn't this his choice?" Tommy asked, confused as to why Tubbo was trying to get rid of Ranboo.

"Yeah, but he's not listening. He's acting like it doesn't matter,"

"So what makes you think he would listen to me?"

"Hope?" Tubbo asked, is sure of himself anyway. Tommy sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"I can try," he mumbled. Tubbo smiled

"Thanks Tommy. I have to go talk to Toast. Ill be back soon," he called and left the room.

Ranboo came out of the bathroom and looked to Tommy

"Where did Tubbo go?"

"To talk to Toast. Say, Ranboo, why don't you come back to the airship with me? We all really fucking miss you," Tommy said. Ranboo looked at him, unconvinced

"No. No. No. I'm fine here Tommy,"

"Ranboo, if you're worried about Tubbo then it's fine. He said he doesn't care if you go,"

"But he was so happy to finally..." Ranboo said, trailing off. Tommy looked over to him and frowned

"He said you were acting different. Please come back to the Airship with me," Tommy asked. Ranboo made up his mind and nodded

"I'll do. I have to go tell Toast," Ranboo said and headed to the door. But it opened and Tubbo strolled in

"Already done. He said the transfer back is approved," Tubbo said, a smirk forming over his face.

The next morning Tommy and Ranboo boarded a dropship and took off.

The airship greeted Tommy, and welcomed back Ranboo.

The hybrid was back home, where he belonged
