Steve sat in his room on the skeld, shaking a little. He wasn't even able to really face his team, his crew. The moment the dropship had docked, he had sprinted to his room.

The door opened and he let out a yelp of fear before seeing Apollo had come in.

"Steve?" Dumbdog asked, sitting next to him. Steve knew how tense he was and he whimpered. "Baby, you're alright," Apollo whispered and pulled Steve onto his lap. Instinctively, Steve pressed his face into Apollo's neck and clung to him.

"Please tell me Hafu is ok," he begged. He felt Dumbdog rub circles into his back and felt himself start to cry. "She has to be ok,"

"She will be. Janets sure of it. The bullet didn't puncture anything major," Apollo murmured in Steve's ear. The man relaxed ever so slightly and jumped as the door opened. "It's just DK,"

"Steve, man you alright?" DKs voice rang out slightly. Concern crossed through it but Steve couldn't bring himself to face his partner. A gentle hand rested on his back and he knew it was DKs. He leaned into the touch ever so slightly.

Steve mumbled something that they couldn't quite make out but knowing the man it was a 'I'm fine'

"Hafu wants to see you," DK told him. Steve turned to face his partner and fear was in his eyes.

"No. She's gonna be mad,"

"She's not mad," Apollo told him. Steve shook his head and buried it back into Apollo's neck.

"She's worried for you," DK said, trying to convince Steve to go see their commander.

"I shot her," he mumbled

After a long while of convincing, Apollo was leading Steve to the medbay. Janet and Kimi let him in, and to Steve's fear he saw Scott. Meaning it had required all four medics. Hafu was sitting up on a bed, looking a little disoriented with her brother next to her.

"Steve, hey," she said softly. She cast a glance around the room and everyone started to leave. Steve glanced at Apollo, wanting his friend more than anything right now.

"Hafu I-"

"Hey, there's no need to apologize. I know you didn't mean to,"

"Hafu. I shot you,"

"And I'm not mad," she said. Steve felt better with mama Hafu, and forced a small smile as she held his hand.

"You should be," he murmured. She shook her head.

"No. It wasn't you. You were under some sort of mind control,"

"I'm so sorry," Steve said as he started to cry again. Hafu gently reached her hand out and brushed the tears away.

"It's not your fault. And look, I'm fine. See?" She asked him. Steve forced another smile on his face, then he realized how tired Hafu was

"Get some rest Hafu," he said and stood up.

He left the medbay and Dumbdog fell silently into step next to him. He felt Apollo intertwine their hands and gripped onto him for dear life. They made it back to their room when Apollo grabbed Steve's waist and pulled him close. He placed their foreheads together

"I'm glad you're ok," Apollo mumbled. Steve could feel his hot breath going down his neck and felt a smile appear on his face. He made a single move and their lips had connected.
