They watched as Toast slept, curled up in his new boyfriend's arms after exhausting mission after mission.

The threats didn't know that Karl had seen them, they didn't know until the alarms went off. Red lights flashed and a loud sound went off, announcing intruders.

Toast and Peter sprung awake, shock flowing through both of them. An intruder in Mira, who would ever be that bold?

The Mira base ran over, spreading out before it became apparent it wasn't just a single rebellious crew, it was two of them.

Cib and xQc stood there, both their crews behind them. And Mira couldn't take them on alone, that seemed too much like a death wish.

Toast and Peter were caught up in a fight, well Toast was. Peter had ducked down to send out an order from Toast himself.

"Mira, head to the first dropship," Peter ordered over his com. He could only hope that they listened. "We will head somewhere else,"

Then a sharp gasp came from Toast.
A knife was to his neck and James and Alfredo held him tightly. He didn't dare move, afraid that the knife would make contact with his throat.

"Peter, run!" Toast ordered. And his partner listened. Toast was left alone with both of the crews, sure he was going to die.

Peter made it to the dropship and saw everyone else on board, other than Toast. So he left, he launched it and like that they had left their commander behind.

"Tina, shut down all forms of communication and all technology nonessential for survival," Peter ordered, Tina did so slowly,. Knowing it would require a password that only Toast had.

And like that, Cib and xQc were in charge of Mira but did not have everything they planned. But they still had Toast
