Karl was exploring Mira base by himself, with no memories came him not knowing his way around. The computer dinged and it was a distress signal. He didn't know and answered it. Sapnap looked at his lovers face and froze
"Karl?"
"Uh, yeah? Who are you?"
"I'm-" Sapnap started to answer but knew he had to focus, "not important. Get Toast and tell him we're in trouble,"
"Toast is?"
"Cyan color. Just tell someone we need some help-" Sapnap started to say only to yelp as the feed cut off. Peter walked in and gave Karl a small look
"What are you doing in here bud?"
"The computer went off. Someone called and said that he needed help," Karl said. Peter dropped his tablet and pushed Karl to the side gently
"The dream team. Shit. Toast, we need to go," he said, ignoring Karl. He spoke into his comm, but a feeling in Karl's stomach just didn't settle. He instinctively grabbed Peters wrist as the man went to leave
"Wait, I wanna help," he said. Peter looked at him and frowned as Toast came over
"Karl, you have no memories. Do you even know who we're against?" Toast asked, Karl opened his mouth to respond and then closed it. "Sorry bud, stay here alone,"
"Yeah, that's fine," Karl whispered. He watched the other 9 board a dropship and leave. Something about the caller was so familiar.
Who was he? The ring on his finger, why did it match Karls?
Karl started to pace, trying to remember. He hated his time travel abilities and wished he had a way to block them. He headed to the medbay and started to search some things up.
A prototype chip popped up and he realized it was made for him. It was supposed to block his powers, but then why didn't it work?
He felt an electric pulse and he jumped back, yelping. He had been shocked. He felt something in him stop and he froze.
His mind was overwhelmed by memories all of a sudden and he actually whimpered. Dream. George. Mira. Airship.
Sapnap. He remembered Sapnap! His fiancée. The love of his life.
He needed to get to Sapnap. He was in trouble. Karl dropped into a dead sprint across Mira, desperately trying to get to a dropship.
He jumped into one and immediately took off. The other dropship must've gotten an alert because he got a call from Tina
"Karl, what are you doing?" She asked, panic in her voice
"Coming to help,"
