Leslie was still leaned into Edison, feeling safe. Edison looked down at her, seeing she was asleep.
"I'm so sorry," he whispered. He blamed himself for the fact that they were stuck. For the fact that they had broken up.
Leslie stirred at his voice and looked up a little, looking tired.
"It's not your fault Edison. It's not either of our faults," she whispered. He smiled a little and hugged her gently with the arm around her waist.
"I'm sorry for being over protective," he whispered. Leslie smiled
"I'm sorry for getting so upset. Leslie responded. Edison leaned forward and kissed her gently, and she kissed back.
They jumped apart as the rocks started to shift until a hand popped through. It was a blue gloved hand and some light broke through
Edison and Leslie moved over and Ash's face peered at them
"Guys. Over here!" She called and looked at them. "Are your two alright?"
"Fine and unhurt. Just get us out," Edison said. Leslie had grabbed his hand and they heard voices come over
"Leslie, Edison?" Wolfabelles voice came through.
"Wolf! Get us out of here!" Leslie yelled. Edison squeezed her hand as the rocks were removed.
They were pulled out of the hole and Bloody inspected them.
"You two seem unhurt. What happened?" She asked. Leslie and Edison explained how they had gotten stuck in the cave.
"Alright. Dropship. That's fine. Toast said it was a setup. Whatever you were chasing wasn't what he was looking for," Wolfabelle said, a slight annoyed tone in her voice
They headed back to the dropship and all boarded before heading back to the water planet
