Toast watched in pure shock as the mission went south, very, very quickly. The crew had refused to work together, even though Toast tried to make them. He thought it would've been over now, now that Steve was saved and it wasn't an issue anymore.
But SP7 had just gotten away with some really valuable information
"Guys. Enough of this. Cib just got away," Toast snapped. Everyone looked at their pissed off leader.
"What?" Peter asked, having not even been fully aware of what was happening.
"Forgot about this stupid fight. Steve is safe, ok? I admit I was a little wrong to leave him, but I wasn't about to put my crew in danger. This damn crew. After this mission we can fight and argue all we want," Toast hissed. Peter stood next to him after a moment
"We were both wrong. Now, let's go catch SP7," Peter said with a smirk. And like that they had taken off.
Tubbo and Fundy ran next to Karl
"Hey, we're with you," Tubbo said. Karl smiled and they sped up, hoping to catch three of the SP7 crew up ahead
Corpse joined Syukunno and Rae, remaining silent. An agreement was made between them without words, and maybe it would be a happy ending after all
Tina and Aipha ran together, moving quickly
Toast and Peter ran next to each other, silent. Neither had any words to say just yet. Neither was sure they wanted to say anything.
Everyone had ran in different directions, leaving teams practically alone
But they did manage to catch SP7, well, at least they managed to get the flash drive back.
A gunshot rang out and Peter saw who it was aimed at. In a moment he had shoved Toast to the ground and felt the bullet barely nick his shoulder.
"Peter?" Toast murmured. His partners face was inches away.
"Could you not die yet?" Peter asked in a teasing tone. Toats scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Could you shut up?"
"Make me," Peter challenged and Toast obeyed. He used a hand to grab Peters hair and pulled his face closer, connecting their lips.
Peter kissed back before pulling away, both of them with red faces. Peter pulled Toast to his feet and neither one spoke. Then they headed back to the dropship
