Subtle inkling when she first picked up the phone
Everything was cheerful until she answered the unknown
That same voice called her name years after again
A sundden startle shook her imparting hopeful painLife was treating her good, better as it did in past
She had finally found her happy place in her life at last
But now everything toppled down like a sand castle
Ruined in a moment, a hundred feelings to tackle. Why would he call her after years being strangers
Now they lived different, visions restricted by blinders
She held the phone close to her chest
Thought not answering it would be the best.A single tear drop raced down her red cheeks
Still pondering over the purpose of the call nothing to freak
Finally she settled down and bravely held herself up
Again she placed the receiver close to her ear to pick upShe well knew the person who called was him
But they were history and water flowed over the brim
The reason as well she figured out of this call
And for this time she was determined not to fall.~AshishK
