Why I taste blood
Why I see all blur
Why can't I recall all of the yesterday
Why won't you let the memories play
Something seems to be missing
Tell me wrong I'm guessing
Why can't I find you this morning
Why won't you tell me you were hiding
Away from me
Something I finally see
So why can't I say I wasn't sober
Enough to tell you that, I wasn't fine
So why can't I let you cross me over
To break my heart again this time.
Again and again
Why Am I trying in vain.
Why can't I just tell my mind to stop
Why won't you hold me when I began to sob
They said that you were the good one
But I won't tell them what I've learnt
Why can't I just go to sleep
Why won't you not let me sleep
Dreaded in my slumber
Recklessly dailing your number
So why can't I just call you closer
Enough to tell you that I wasn't fine
Swear to God I won't let you cross me over
To break my heart again this time.
Woah woah woo-oo ooe
Woah woah woo-oo ooe
