Years had passed since last I saw you
Even left the stage without any cue
Didn't remember what clearly you said last.
However I prayed every time for us to last.
Standing by the lamp post around the corner
Pondering over the fading memories of your briar
An estrange warmth wraps my heart gradually
Followed a gentle sob and my eyes got wet slowly.
I yearn so bad for that feeling of your love
All world was black only you stood white my dove
Soon I saw someone across the street with a friend
Same facial details and similar voice heard at my end.
A sudden surprise came through my words
Felt a blood rush as flew away the birds
My heart melted and a smile stretched across my face
As if this was my cue to step back on that very stage.
They started to walk towards me gossiping pompously
I also dropped my crestfallen mind and strode hastily
Whole world around me vanished away
Just your face shone bright as all turned gray.
But to my horror you passed me like a stranger
I froze there, and the moment stretched longer
I fell into a deep spiral of breaking walls
That world collapsed as I found my breath halt.
Only your name's first syllable slipped my mouth
After that all words were simply not enough loud
I turned back for the last time to try my luck
But you kept walking away like a heavenly tug.
So I also walked away, angry at myself for why my vision was getting blurred.
