Lights out, maybe a fault somewhere
And I sit by the window wandering here,
Looking at the black-white terrain
And everything is dark down the lane.
Whole world seems to be a huge canvas
Carrying the most magnificent carcoal painting.
And then the train's whistle fills the atmosphere
And my heart, which starts to echo nigh.
Only to think of those lazy passengers
Dozing under lights on berths shaking shy.
Exhausted from their tiring journey,
Slept away ignoring the engine's harmony.
Moon gleaming bright right in the sky,
Waiting for praise from the poet's eye.
May night not go unpraised from me
Also the beauty of everything bathing in this moonlight.
Night time and no streetlights,
What a treat for this poet's mind!
