Monsoon is back.
After being scorched
For straight four months.
Heavenly drops are here
To quench thirst of this barren.
As the drops touch the land
New life aquivers everywhere.
Peacock dance to beats of
Rain tapering in woods.
Birds get a full shower
Entire terrain gets wrapped
With lavish flora while
Fauna try their best to avoid
Complete drench.
Finally, I'll bath in rain
And play like small child
To give a refresher to old memories.
I'll sip hot tea sitting by the window
And enjoy light showers on the balcony.
Rainy season unleashes the magnificent
Side of nature.
