I was caught up in my work
Didn't know if things were gonna work
I knew I skid pass the mark
And left all those memories ajar.
And for you I know it was hard
To say that you wanted all of this
But now when you're gone
I yearn for what I miss
And don't want to play any games
I want you back and that taste of your kiss.
I feel a void left in my heart
So please return and turn all laments into bliss.
Why can't we skip back to our past
I don't want us to burn out too fast
So why can't we call each other again
But I don't want to call you in vain.
