Soon night started to fall as darkness descended below
It started to get more chilly and the shutters got low
Atmosphere got lightened up by a thousand magical lumens
People dwelt in each others warmth as vanished away the sun.
The same air got more heavy with excitement and joy
Smile stretched across the faces greeting me as I walked by
Wrapped in a long over coat I slowly trotted the streets
Slightly shivering and whispering gibberish as I breathe.
I started to show signs of being longing for a company
Although that would be great but it would cost me extra penny
Finally I got into a cafe and ordered a warm coffee
I conversed in my broken Italian as I drank that with glee.
Soon my senses got restored and I stepped out of the maze
I rose my head from the mug and ran my eyes across the place
Caught a lady eyeing me up and down, so I passed her a smile
She returned the favor and the story began which ran for a mile.
