All grown up all of a sudden
where did the time fly away
cups which were packed then
are now broken and shelved away.
Eyes that were eager for face
sare now petty slaves of screens.
A life that ran smoothly without wages
now on every penny it screams.
Jargon that made sense then
are words of self-humiliation now.
Kites that served hours of fun
are just fancy paper tied to sticks now.
Woke up early just for others
to fly kites to great heights.
To live without worry every day
until extinguished away the lights.
Am I really spending this right?
painting over all I wrote on white.
The change seemed un-evitable then
I gave up to try again when.
