   How Would The Characters Of '' The Last Of Us '' React When Reader Has Cramps ( Ellie and Joel version )

Joel - You haven't had cramps in your legs for a long time because when you were on patrol you didn't get that tired and when you got home Joel would help you with all sorts of chores. Joel knew your cramps were so bad, and it hurt so much to see you suffer that he couldn't sleep through the night without seeing you sleep well. So much so that one night, just as you were going to hug Joel with your legs stretched out, you suddenly felt a pain in your right leg and you got up straight, but it was too late. Even though you didn't want to wake Joel, you couldn't stop screaming out of pain and Joel suddenly stood up because of this movement and came to your side and tried to calm you down.

          ''Hey baby, look it's okay,'' he took your face in one hand while you held one of your legs and he started rubbing your leg with his other hand. " It's alright babygirl, ssshh I gotcha baby, it's gonna be okay. Alright? Just take a few breaths. In and out baby. Yeah just like that." But you were so moved by his words that you had the opportunity to study every detail of his face until another cramping pain came. You gave a big cry when you felt your vein tense up again, and this time Joel pulled you into his lap and hugged you tightly and repeated the words he had just said. You looked at his face, trying to ignore the stretching of your leg, and he gave you that beautiful smile. When your pain was gone you just felt your vein beating like a heartbeat but this time you knew the pain was gone so you laid your head on Joel's chest and inhaled his scent.

      On the other hand, Joel pulled you closer to him and placed big kisses on your cheeks that were just flowing with tears. Although you loved the attention you got from him, you didn't really like to wake him up like that, but if you ask Joel, he loves everything about you and wants you to know that he is open to any situation. Slowly your eyes closed from exhaustion, and Joel put you back on the bed and turned off the light and lay next to you. After placing small kisses on your lips and cheeks one last time, he pulled your leg up a little towards himself so as not to experience the same thing again, and hugged you tightly and waited for you to fall asleep. But you could be sure that Joel was a man willing to do anything for you and would always love you in every way.

  Ellie - Very rarely you would get cramps while on patrol, and whenever you were in such a situation, you would either escape from the sick people or experience pain after jumping from a place in an unexpected way. When you asked Ellie how often this happened to her, she replied 'not so much' and yes she was right because you almost never saw anything like that happen to her. It was, but maybe she was trying to pass it without you noticing.<br />
One day you were patrolling with Ellie and Dina, when you least expected it, sick people started coming out of here and chasing you and you couldn't sleep the night before because of cramps and Ellie knew it because you wanted  to come out of your house and come to her place to comfort you and she was there for you then. You guys just sat there for an hour or two, waiting for the cramps to go away and she chose not to sleep until you fell asleep, but she didn't seem too bothered by that because she gave you a big hug and kissed you when you got up in the morning.

   But going back to now, the sick were all around you guys and you were looking for a corner to escape to, but there was no such place in sight. “Dina! Can you see anywhere we can hide?” The rain was also about to get stronger, and Dina didn't seem to understand what Ellie was saying because of the sound of the sick people. On the one hand, you were trying to run with your still sore leg, and on the other hand, you were trying to escape from the diseased ones. As you were getting closer to Dina and Ellie, you ran quickly, came to Ellie's side and took her hand. While searching for a place to hide, your eyes landed on the containers at least 20 yards away. With this, you tugged on Ellie's arm and pointed there with your index finger. '' I think I saw a place we can hide. I can run but you have to cover me. '' Ellie stared intently at your face and pressed her lips agains yours, before she could call out to Dina, you were caught by a clicker which was behind you. On the one hand, you were trying to throw the clicker off you but it was very difficult to that at that moment because of your leg which was starting to get cramped than ever. You shouted with all your might, but because of this, the sick began to come towards you and become even more aggressive.

  '' No no no no! Hey fuckers come here! Leave my girlfriend alone you pricks!'' As if the sky understood, Ellie's shout increased the intensity of the rain. Ellie forcefully killed the clicker above you and grabbed your arms and pulled you towards her. "Ellie... Fuck! It hurts!" Ellie knew how much it hurt, but you couldn't stop without hiding. " I know baby but hold on please. We're so close babe." You finally hid behind the containers after a long struggle and took deep breaths. Although you tried to keep your breathing sounds as quiet as possible, it wasn't that easy and it felt like you guys ran a full marathon. '' Are you okay now, babe?'' You nodded your head as to say yes and laid your head on Ellie's leg and waited for Dina, who was separeted from you while you guys were fighting off the sick people. While waiting for her, you kept thinking how narrowly you escaped this accident again.
