Death is a natural thing.
Something unavoidable.
Something we can not fight.
We can try but it will all fail in the end.
We are chess pieces on a board.
With are movements controlled by the players,
As we all wait for our chance to strike.
We are nothing but pieces of a game,
Much larger than we can comprehend.
This twisted and strange game called,
The Game of Life.
We, mankind, try again and again,
To fight the inevitable.
Is it worth it?
Spending day and night,
Constantly wasting time.
Is it worth it?
In my opinion it is a waste of time.
Time human beings do not have to waste. Hope,
Hope is a natural thing.
Something we believe in with all of our might.
Something we use daily even if we don't realize it.
But,
Who am I to talk?
After all the excitement ends,
I'm just another pawn,
Waiting for the call of death.
