The endless road I walk on,
With its endless clouds,
And desert sun.
I love it all,
But I'm confused.
Where will it end?
When did it begin?
All I see is tall grass,
Around this deserted road.
I continue to walk,
And I can't find the end.
Eventually I see,
Beautiful mountains in the distance.
Is that the end?
I quicken my steps.
I begin to run,
To try and get to the mountains.
As I get closer,
It soon becomes clear.
The mountains were my imagination,
Not real.
Tears gather in my eyes,
I don't know what to do.
A summer breeze passes by me.
The grass begins to sway.
I'm all alone,
On this endless road,
With nothing to do but to keep walking.
The wind lifts my hair,
The clouds have disappeared,
It's an endless blue sky,
Endless with nothing of interest.
What do I do?
I continue on the endless road,
With nothing much to do,
Other then watch the sky,
The grass and maybe my shoes too.
I'm sure I'll find the end someday.
Until then I'll keep walking,
On this peaceful road,
Until I find somebody,
To walk along with me.

PoetryNot just poems anymore, I guess. More like little things where I have no place for them. Basically the poems/short stories/rambles that appear in my head that I have to write down. Enjoy? Trigger warning, I think. Sorry for changing the title a lot...
