*a week past, second-person pov*
A week had passed, your leg was better healing and scaring. You'd mainly spent your week in bed rest in your room or the labs, the heroes were always out. Day after day they'd suit up and track down hydra, so you'd spend your days yourself or rarely with Loki.
---2 nights ago---
"y/n" Loki knocks on your door
"Yes," He enters his eyes widen as you walked from your desk in a white nightdress.
"Tony left this" Loki passes you a posted note and a phone. "I can't seem to unlock the phone the password on the paper isn't working"
"That's because he's written it backwards, you were typing 608071 buts it's 170806 my birthday" You hand Loki the phone unlocked, and you begin to walk back to your desk
"I don't know how-"
You sigh and walk back over to Loki,
You take the phone and start calling the number "hey can we please get 2 medium cheese pizza's please, thank you" You smirk at Loki and hand him the phone "easy" you turn and start to walk to your bed
"Y/n your shoulder"
"What about it," you say as you sit.
"It's um getting worse"
"No no, it's not" you smile at him to persuade him you were completely fine.
"Here sit whilst we wait" you tap the bed signalling him over.
"You've been avoiding me, now you want me to sit"
"Yeh" Loki starts walking over to your bed. "You know you could have just asked Jarvis to order for you"
"Yeh but then I wouldn't be able to come up here with you," he says as you blush.
"What's this" Loki picks up a book that was laying at the bottom of your bed
"Shakespeare"
"You read him"
"Yes do you"
"Yes" Loki begins to open the book at where the colour posted notes where "what do the colours stand for"
"Green is for the ones I understand, yellow almost figured out and red I have no clue what they mean" Loki smiles at me then the book as he flicks the pages.
"Love, it can not be found where it does not exist, nor can it be hidden where it truly does" Loki reads one out "it's red"
"Yeh.."
"It should be green"
"I don't get it, I don't believe soulmates or fate and if there is no fate or no soulmate how else does one find their other half" Loki and your stares were interrupted by Jarvis
"Delivery"
"Pizza" you run down to collect it leaving Loki still turning pages in the book coming across one labelled favourite
