I had just gotten out of the shower and was running around my room trying to get ready. It was about five in the afternoon but me and Harry agreed that it be best to go out early. We wouldn’t be able to do much if we left at eight because of curfew. I had gotten dressed and fixed my hair. I decided to leave it curly. I walked over to my dresser and looked at the ring Micah gave me.

Is this cheating? I mean, me and Micah are considered boyfriend and girlfriend now. Am I going behind his back? Is this wrong? I told Harry this wasn’t a date. But he is awfully handsy, and if one thing led to another…I don’t know if I could stop him. I don’t know if I would want him to stop.

“Sam! Harry’s here!” My Mom called.

“Okay.” I called back.

Am I sure I wanna do this? What if…what if I get feelings for him..nah. That’s not gonna happen. He is too big of an asshole for that to happen. I opened the door and walked down the steps. Just like last night my Mom was entertaining my date as they waited for me. Wait…did I just say date? It’s not a date!

“You look lovely.” Harry Smirked.

“Thanks.”

My Mom turned to me and winked before going back upstairs.

“Ready to go then brown eyes?” He asked.

“Yes. And don’t call me that.” He held out his arm for me to take but I ignored it and walked past him out the front door. I knew I was being a bitch but I didn’t want to give him the wrong idea. I walked outside and towards his car. It was a really nice range rover and it made my little yellow bug seem so incompetent.

“Well hop in then.” He said as he walked past me and jumped in his car. Didn’t even open the door for me? Strike one.

I walked to the other side of the car and got in and buckled my seat-belt  I looked around his car. It was extremely clean for a teenage boy. A bit to clean. “Is this new?”

He nodded and started the engine. “Yeah, Paul just bought it a few days ago. We’re kinda all sharing it right now.”

“Your Dad right?”

“I told you he’s not our Dad. He just takes care of us.”

I nodded and looked at the collection of CD’s he had in the floor of the passengers seat. I picked them up and went threw them. You can tell a lot about a person by what music they listen to.

“Who’s CD Collection?” I asked.

“That would be mine. You can put something in if you like.”

I nodded as I went through the stack of CD’s. His taste in music was amazing. And very similar to mine. I saw Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, He Is We, You Me At Six, Elvis, John Mayer, Lana Del Rey, the list goes on. I couldn’t really find anything I wanted to listen to though and put the CD’s back in their spot under the dashboard.

“Where we going?”

“Boardwalk.”

“Really!?”

He laughed at my reaction and continued driving. “Your Mum really wasn’t kidding when she said you loved that place huh?”

“Yeah, I haven’t been in awhile though because  that’s where a lot of the disappearances have happened.”

He smiled at me and winked. “I promise to keep you safe love.”

“Oh god.”

“Oh, and by the way, thanks for wearing the skirt. You really did it for me.” He grinned.
