I walked inside our house and as soon as I did, I took off my shirt and looked at the burn on my chest. It was in the shape of a cross. I hissed as I ran my fingers across the sensitive skin. It was already healing but it still stung like a bitch.
Liam walked down the long hallway of our very own house/funeral home with a grin. He frowned when he saw my burn. “Where did you…” He started but I cut him off.
“Don’t get your knickers in a twist, Sam was wearing a necklace and it burned me when we hugged.”
“Oh. Does it hurt?” He asked.
I looked at him like he was a dumb ass before smiling at him sarcastically. “No, not at all.” I said as I put my shirt back on.
“Don’t you think it’s kinda odd she was wearing a cross Harry? She’s not exactly the religious type.”
“What are you getting at?” I said turning on him.
“Look who her best friend is Harry. It could be possible she knows something.”
“She doesn’t know a thing Liam.” I said already annoyed with this conversation.
“Well you wouldn’t know now would you it’s not like you can hear her.” He snickered.
I snapped my eyes at him and clenched my jaw. “Yeah well you boys can, so unless she has had any peculiar thoughts about us you have no reason to worry now do you?” I hated this. The boys have been doing this to me for days. They could here all her thoughts, all her deepest darkest secrets and I couldn’t. What made her so special? It was driving me insane.
“I know it has Harry.” Liam frowned.
Realizing he just heard my thoughts I shoved past him and walked down the hallway. “Dammit Liam, stay out of my fucking head.” I growled.
I walked into the living room to see my other three brothers spilled onto a mess on the couch. “Ello there love!” Louis shouted.
“Hey Lou.” I smirked as I sat in the arm chair next to the couch.
Zayn sat up on the sofa and grinned at me. “So, any progress with the lovely Samantha?” He said as he wriggled his eyebrows.
I smirked and took off my shoes as I leaned back against the chair and propped up my feet against the coffee table. “She’s warming up.”
“Yeah, apparently you’re too. I could hear you cursing in your head from across the street when she burnt you with that necklace.” Niall snickered.
“Mate, just admit it. You aren’t going to get this one in the sack. It’s been a hundred years of home runs you can let one get away.” Louis laughed.
“He’s just not used to rejection Lou.” Zayn chimed in.
“Hey, I got laid a few days ago. It’s been how long for you three?” I said pointing between them. They all glared at me in silence. “Exactly, so fuck off.”
“I just don’t get it Haz. Why haven’t you given up on her?” Niall asked.
Louis joined in next. “Right, you drive her absolutely mad. She’s always calling you a curly headed cunt in her thoughts.” They all busted into laughter and then Liam walked in. He leaned up against the doorway and looked at the four of us.
“She makes him curious.” Liam smiled.
“Curious?” Louis said raising his eyebrows.
I shrugged and looked down at my phone. I had one new message. It was from Sam.
