I stirred beneath the covers. My body completely naked and vulnerable. I felt an arm drape over me and figertips playing with the ends of my hair. I forced my sleepy eyes to open and smiled when I saw Harry’s green eyes staring at me.
"What?" I whispered my voice thick with sleep.
He blinked at me and pulled me in closer. He buried his face in my neck and sighed. His fingers still playing with my hair. “I’m not used to this…” He mumbled.
"Used to what?" I asked.
He pulled back and looked me in the eyes. “Waking up next to someone.” He smirked.
I propped my head up on my hand. “Welcome to a serious relationship. You scared?” I smiled.
He bit his lip. “Terrified…” His eyes wandered to my wrist and he smirked. “Sorry.”
I looked at my wrist and my eyes widened at the dark purple bruise that was wrapped around it. I looked at the other one and it had almost the exact same bruise. I blushed for a moment, I hadn’t even realized they were there until he pointed them out. I sat up in bed and brushed my hair out of my face. He just stared at me the whole time
"What?" I asked.
He smiled widely before getting up from the bed. The sheet dropped to the floor and there was nothing to cover himself. I followed him as he walked over to my side of the bed and took the sheet off me. His eyes scanned my body before he picked me up in his arms bridal style.
"What are you doing?" I laughed.
"Taking a shower. You don’t expect me to take one alone do you?"

I didn’t want to go back to California. I didn’t even want to leave our hotel room. I could’ve stayed in Romania with Harry if I really wanted to. But that sadly wasn’t an option. We had to leave, we had to go back to Santa Clara and face Micah. He’d come after us eventually; and even if he didn’t, more people would die.
We had to end this…
13 hours later and we were back in California. We had just finished picking up our luggage and were about to leave, but Niall suddenly decided he was hungry.
“Niall, you don’t even eat regular food!” I complained.
I rolled my eyes as he ran over to the mini KFC that was across the large airport. The rest of the boys followed him, Harry included, and left me alone with Dylan, Edgar, and Star.
Dylan couldn’t even look at me…
I decided to break the awkward silence. “So…what’s the plan?” I asked.
Edgar sighed, “We’re gonna take you and Dylan somewhere safe, and then the rest of us are going to deal with Micah.”
“How? He kicked our asses last time! It’s too dangerous!”
Star placed her hands on her slender hips and looked at me in annoyance. “Have a better idea?” She asked, raising her eyebrow.
My face turned red. I was beginning to get frustrated. “No! But it doesn’t matter if me and Dylan are taken somewhere safe, he’ll find us! He always does!”
“We’ll take care of it Sammy…” Edgar huffed.
Dylan turned to his Dad with an angry expression. “Why do you have to take care of it? Why can’t Star and those blood sucking freaks deal with it? It’s Harry’s fault all this is happening in the first place!”
