I got home in about 10 seconds; it took me a bit longer than usual considering I had a body slung over my shoulder. I went through the back door so no one would see me carrying Mr. King and then threw him down in the back room. Liam was in there as soon as I did was, holding me up by my neck leaving me dangling in the air. His fangs were showing and his eyes were black leaving the veins in his face translucent. We called this our true face.

“I COMPELLED YOU NOT TO KILL HIM HARRY!” He screamed.

I struggled to get away from my makers grasp but it was no use. He continued to hold me in the air as I struggled to speak. “You told me not to kill him on Monday, it’s Thursday mate.” I laughed.

He dropped me letting me fall with a thud to the floor. “You have absolutely no respect for me do you?” He spat.

I frowned at him and shook my head.” You know I do…” He cut me off.

“THEN WHY WOULD YOU GO BEHIND MY BACK!?” He screamed… fangs bared.

I was tired of this…tired of him accusing me all the time, tired of him not trusting me. I shifted into my true face before grabbing him by his collar and shoving him up against the wall. “HE WAS GOING TO RAPE SAM!” I roared.

Liam’s face fell and he shifted back to normal. He looked at me with sad eyes and shook his head. “You still went against the code Harry.”

“I don’t give a fuck about the code.” I let him go and turned to walk out into the hallway.”

“That girl is making you reckless Harry.” He sighed.

I stopped in my tracks and sighed. “What do you mean?” I scoffed.

“Look at how you’re acting. You spend all our time thinking about her, you’ve already killed for her. What next Harry?”

“What are you getting at Liam?” I snapped twirling around to face him.

“You’re not to see her anymore.” He said sternly.

I rolled my eyes and laughed. “Like you can stop me.” I said raising an eyebrow.

“I think you’ll find I can.” He said with a growl. He was standing in front of me in less than a millisecond and grabbed me roughly by my forearms. He looked me in the eyes and as soon as he did held me there. There was no way I could escape from my makers gaze. “Harry, as my progeny, I command you, stay away from Samantha Gilbert.”

Anger built up in me… and the first time in my one hundred years, I resented my maker. How could he do this? He’s never used our blood tie to control me in this way. “Liam, please…”

“This is for her safety Harry. You’ll realize that one day.” He dropped our gaze and patted me on the shoulder. He looked down at the floor in shame at what he had just done and mumbled one last thing to me. “Take Mr. King to the furnace.” He exited the room leaving me alone in a complete rage…

It was the next day and I hadn’t spoken to Liam since yesterday. I hadn’t been at school in the past two days because I wanted to avoid Sam. Mainly because of the compulsion, and I didn’t feel like embarrassing myself when she came near me. I would look like a robot in her eyes as Liam’s compulsion would force me to stay away from her. I wouldn’t be able to control my body as it steered me in the other direction and there would be no explaining that.

I had disposed of Mr. King’s body and Louis helped me get rid of his car. It was pretty much like he never existed; Lou had been alive for five hundred years so he knows how to easily make someone disappear. He was the only one that understood why I was so upset with Liam. He was being a dick for no damn reason. Yeah I went against the code, but what else was I supposed to do? Wait for him to hurt Sam and then kill the fucker? Turn him into the police? Hell no! Number one: I wasn’t going to let her get hurt. Number two: I was bored. Number three: I was hungry. Killing him solved all three problems; Liam should be thanking me, not punishing me.
