| "I'll wait for you."| A kazurou fanfic <3

Prologue

"T-Tomo! Wake up! You can't die now! Please, don't leave me!"

Kazuha woke up out of breath, his hand gripping on his chest, heart beating so fast to the point where he could hear it clearly. He quickly observed his surroundings, noticing he was in his bedroom of his shared apartment.

'Ah, so it was just another nightmare.' He thought.

He sighed, and closed his eyes, then so only reopening once he heart a familiar voice at the other side of the door.

"Kazuha? Are you awake?"

It was his roommate Gorou. They were good friends even before they started living together.

Ever since Tomo died, Kazuha hasn't been acting like he usually does. Gorou worried, suggested that they should move in with each other, in case anything terrible happens. Kazuha happily agreed, knowing himself that living on his own might not be ideal.

"Mhm, I woke up not too long ago. Is there a problem?" Kazuha said, trying to act like he didn't just have a panic attack two seconds ago.

"Ahah it's nothing really, I just wanted to let you know that school's starting in 30 minutes heh." Gorou said awkwardly.

"A-ah really?! Oops, my bad!" He replied, sprinting out of bed and out the door.

"Mind waiting for me? I won't be long, I'll skip breakfast." Kazuha said, looking away from the man in front of him, while lazily running his hand on his nape.

Gorou stared at him for a moment. Acknowledging his gorgeous features from up close. Even though he's seen them about half a million times, he's still astonished and swept away by his beauty every time. From his messy white hair, that dropped a little past his shoulders, with one strand of red added to it, to his scarlet like eyes, slim but slightly muscular body. In his eyes, Kazuha was perfect. He quickly snapped back into reality, remembering that the man in front of him has said something.

"You aren't skipping breakfast. No can do sir, not on my watch." The animal like man said sassily.

"I'm not even going to try arguing with you, let me quickly get myself ready and we'll see what you can get done before I finish. The one who loses pays for lunch for the upcoming week. Up for the challenge?" Kazuha said, a smirk printed on his lips.

"Challenge accepted!"

They both laughed it off and went in the opposite directions, Gorou having an almost unnoticeable tint of light pink on his face.

Gorou and Kazuha basically shared everything with each other, there weren't any secrets between them you could say. But, Gorou has one secret, only he and a few others knew. It's something that if he possibly let out, would ruin a friendship that they held for many years.

And it was that Gorou loved Kazuha. More than a friend.

He couldn't tell him his feelings, at least not just yet. It had nothing to do with his sexuality, he was openly gay. It was the fact that Kazuha isn't ready, he's going through a very dark time right now. Tomo, his ex boyfriend only died almost a year ago in front of his eyes. Even though he may act like he's gotten over it, he hasn't. Gorou has heard all the silent cries and painful screams he let out. The puffy red eyes he'd wake up with almost every morning. The reason he hasn't said anything yet is because Kazuha's stubborn.

Kazuha thinks he's fine, but in reality he isn't. Far away from fine actually.
