Chapter 16

"I'd be more than delighted to." Kaeya started.

"I'm Kaeya, you may or may not know me. I suppose I could say I'm popular with the ladies, and the men. I'd be glad to help you with what you need from me today. Just don't be swept off your feet by my beauty, I have a lover." Kazuha has seen Kaeya's face around school, Gorou has talked to him about his senior, but they never got to speak in person.

"Thank you for being here senior Kaeya. I hope I am not wasting your time." Kazuha thanked.

"Oh of course you are! But no worries, it's not like I had plans anyway. Plus, I'm always here to help a friend out." Kaeya said.

"Next!" Scaramouche yelled.

"Oh! Oh! I'll go next! Hi! I'm Bennett! There's nothing special about myself I guess, heh. But! I'm honoured to be able to help you senior Kazuha! Such a lucky day." The cheerful boy introduced himself with a heart made out of gold. How adorable.

" Hi! I'm Xiangling, I'm an amazing chef. Ask Chongyun, he's a HUGE fan of spicy food! Aren't I right?"

"Whatever you say..." Chongyun sighed.

"Blah, blah, blah. Introductions are taking too long. Let's move on. Hmm, Kazuha, since you're the reason everyone is here, why don't you pick someone to tell their love story first?" Scara suggested.

"Oh, I mean, I wouldn't mind a-"

"Hurry up and pick."

"Uh... How about with the brown haired lady, who seems to be accompanied by a pink haired one."

"You must me talking about us. I'm Yanfei, and this is my girlfriend, Hu tao!" Yanfei started.

"Hi I'm Hu tao! I'm sure you've heard of me. I'm the one throwing those HUGE Halloween parties every year. In fact, I'm throwing one this year too, everyone's invited! Ahah, sorry. Just needed to give myself a little self promotion."

"Please get to the point already, I'm so close to falling asleep." Scara faked a yawn, trying to prove his point.

"You are sure a moody person." Xiangling commented.

"Ooh. It's kinda a short but long story." Hu tao began.

"Basically my family owns a funeral parlour. It's something that has been a family tradition for many years now. When I turned 18, my parents passed it down onto me! I could never be more happy!" Hu tao explained.

"So you sell... Coffins for a living?" Kazuh questioned.

"If you put it like that, then I guess! Heh." She smiled.

"So about a week after a family member of mine passed away, I was sent on a mission to find a coffin for them. So I went to Hu tao's funeral parlour since it had a good rating to me." Yanfei started.

"You heard what she said! If you ever need a coffin, come to me! I'll be right at your service."

"Oh, if only I knew you when Diluc's dad-"

"Kaeya, I thought we talked about the dead dad jokes." Albedo interrupted.

"Oh, I suppose it wasn't the best time to make such a joke. Please continue Yanfei." Kaeya chuckled.

"I walked in, but was greeted by nobody. I assumed it was closed, though it wouldn't make sense since the door was unlocked. I called out to see if anyone was there, but I was met with someone appearing out of the dark and scaring me. Of course, it was no one else but Hu tao." Yanfei continued.

"Haha! That's a real Hu tao for ya!"

"Even though the way Hu tao greeted me was very... Intense. She is a very nice and kind person, just very playful. She helped me find what I needed which I am more than grateful for.
I wanted to keep in touch so I asked her for her number. She happily agreed and here we are now. Happier than ever!" Yanfei concluded.
