Chapter 17

"Would you like too..." Kazuha paused.

"Go on a real date with me?"

Kazuha could've sworn he heard Gorou's phone hit the ground.

On the other side, Gorou was trying his best not to start yelling. He was too slow, his best friend beat him too it.

Originally Gorou was planning on asking him out first, but things changed and didn't go as planned.

But that doesn't change anything. Right now, he was the happiest man in the world. Hearing those words come out of Kazuha's mouth was like a melody he felt like he's been searching for.

"Gorou? Are you still there?"

Gorou remembered, Kazuha was still on the other line.

"A-ah... Yes! Oh uh... I meant yes to being- I just. I uh- Yes. Kazuha yes, I would love to go on a date with you."

Kazuha smiled widely. He wasn't supposed to confess this early. The words just came out of his mouth. After hearing everyone else's stories, this encouraged him to go for it, before it was ever too late.

"But uh... What do you mean as in- Um... Real date?" Gorou knew exactly what he meant. But he wanted to make sure he wasn't a whole step ahead.

"Hmm. Whatever you perceive it to be. I say, a real date. And what I mean by that, is a date as soon to be lovers." Kazuha responded in more of a flirtatious tone this time.

"Was this an indirect confession?" Gorou asked.

"Whatever you portray it to be. By the way, the date is on a Friday night. I'll tell you more details when I get home. I'll be there soon. Love you."

"I... Love, you too." He responded.

"Okay, I gotta go now. See you soon." Kazuha hanged up and put in phone in the back pocket of his pants.

He started walking and thought about how bold he was just there. Not even he thought he was capable of doing that.

Kazuha stopped for a moment.

"I asked him out on a date, yet I have nothing planned out for tomorrow." Kazuha mentally smacked himself. He would have to think of this quickly.

'What does Gorou like?' He asked himself. Being his best friend for so long now, this shouldn't be a hard question. But currently he shouldn't be thinking about what Gorou likes as his best friend, instead as his lover.

Knowing how simple Gorou is as a person he wouldn't mind anything. Kazuha on the other hand wants to make this a memorable moment. Something he'll carry on with him for years. Something he can cherish until he grows old.

The white haired man thought of taking him to a restaurant again, but that would be just like last time. Too boring. His choices were limited, until a lightbulb appeared on top of his head.

"An amusement park!" He cried out.

The main reason he thought of this was because of the ferris wheel. At night, the lights would be on. So imagine if he and Gorou, we at the top on the ride, and kissed. It sounds corny, yet romantic.

Kazuha found a nearby bench and sat down, pre ordering the tickets so they wouldn't have to wait in a long line when they get there.

He was lucky fall hasn't come to an end yet, or none of this would've been put in place.

"Gorou, I'm home." Kazuha closed the front door and placed his stuff down. He removed his shoes and placed them in the nearby closet.
