Chapter 13

Gorou woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside his bedroom window, the sun up bright and early almost blinding him while he rubbed his eyes and stared at the wall for a good moment.

Once he was more awake, he ran one of his hands through his fluffy hair and stared at the sleeping beauty next to him.

Kazuha was peacefully sleeping, letting out soft breaths and snores from time to time. He had beautiful and long eyelashes that matched the colour of his hair, smooth skin and at last, his rosy pink plump lips, so kissable.

Gorou checked the time on his phone, it was currently 7:13am. He decided he was gonna let Kazuha sleep for a little longer before waking him up. Normally he'd let Kazuha wake up by himself, but he had plans today and wanted to let the other be aware of his late returns tonight.

Today, he was going to visit Thoma. It's been a while since he's been at his place for a while now, since he's been having to stay home and take care of Kazuha. Assuming he was doing better, he thought it was an opportunity to go talk to his blond haired friend about Kazuha's recent behaviour.

Gorou and Kazuha have been friends for a couple years now, so during that time Gorou has observed his behaviour and learned about his routines and personality along the way. But ever since Scaramouche came over, that's when Kazuha started acting, different. It wasn't a bad thing, just unusual. And Gorou couldn't understand where these sudden actions were coming from, and why he was acting like this?

Gorou just sat down in thought until he thought it was a good time to wake up the white haired man next to him.

"Kazuha, Kazuha." He lightly shook him.

"Hmmm.." Kazuha groaned and sat up, rubbing his eyes and yawning. He blinked a few times sitting there in silence staring at the ceiling.

"Good morning Kazuha!" Gorou smiled.

This snapped Kazuha out of his morning daze and rapidly gave the other a response to what he previously said.

"Good morning Gorou. Did you sleep well?" Kazuha asked in his morning voice. It was something Gorou enjoyed hearing. It was a bit deeper than usual, croaky you could say, but it still had the soft tone to it.

"Yes I did, basing off how you slept like a prince in his new bed I'm guessing you slept amazingly." Gorou giggled.

"You definitely guessed right." Kazuha laughed while pushing back the few strands of hairs in front of his face.

"Kazuha." Gorou called out.

"Yes Gorou?"

"I'm going over to Thoma's today. Do you think
you'll be okay?" Gorou questionned. He was aware that Kazuha was a grown man, but he couldn't help but just worry.

"I will be okay Gorou. Have fun okay? Don't worry about me." Kazuha pat his chest showing that he was going to be just fine. Gorou leaving the house was perfect, it was a free opportunity to invite Scaramouche over to discuss the next step.

"If anything happens, you can-"

"Always call you. I know, you've said it 5 billion times now." Kazuha sighed.

"A-ah sorry, just worried." He apologized.

"Like I said I'm fine now Gorou. Haven't you seen my improvement?" Kazuha now took Gorou's hand in his. "I promise, I'll be okay. Please enjoy yourself for once without me being at the back of your head all the time."

"If you say so... But you could always invite someone over, you know... to feel less lonely while I'm gone!" Gorou suggested.

"I'll think about it." Kazuha said while getting out of bed and was now stretching. He yawned again before walk towards the door, until he turned his head around and looked towards Gorou, who was still in bed.
