On the ship, Sean could barely breathe. Vanessa had transformed into something else, and the nobles were all terrified. Jetsam's grip never let up on him even when he stopped struggling. Instead, he yelled down to the lower deck as the transformed Vanessa dived off the ship. "Flotsam! What did you do?!" There was no response, but Sean wasn't focused on them. He was watching a large fin cut cleanly through the water as it came for the ship. From below, Flotsam yelled up to Jetsam in a panic. "I didn't do anything! He broke my trance on his own!" Sean snapped out of his own fear to yell out across the deck. "BRACE YOURSELVES!" The nobles all dropped to their knees as the large shark slammed into the side of the wooden ship. The ship vibrated from the hit, before the Captain ran to the side and yelled out to his crew. "He's trying to sink us! Get the repair team below! Rig runners, get the harpoons! Get him away from my ship!" Crew startled to rush about, until Jetsam yelled out. "BELAY THAT!" The Captain whirled around to look at Jetsam, who's yellow eye glinted.

Sean looked between them. Jetsam started to sing a haunting tune, causing the Captain to relax and rely aloud. "Belay the order." Sean gawked as the crew all relaxed like the Captain had and seemed to accept defeat. The nobles started to panic, screaming out. "What are you doing?! The ship will sink!" Sean locked eyes with Jetsam who grinned and told him smugly. "This must bring up bad memories for you, little prince." Sean narrowed his eyes on Jetsam, then kicked him in the shin with the heel of his boot. Jetsam yelped in pain, bending over enough for Sean to get an advantage. Despite Jetsam having ahold of his wrists, Sean fell to his side on the deck and rolled. Forcing Jetsam to go down with him. Once Jetsam was on the deck, Sean kicked him in the balls, then put his feet to Jetsam's chest and pushed out until Jetsam let him go. They both rolled up to their feet, squaring off with each other. Sean picked up a discarded harpoon that one of the crew dropped and lunged the end out at Jetsam as if it was a rapier sword. Jetsam sidestepped with a smile but hissed in pain as Sean pulled the harpoon back, causing the hooked end to slice Jetsam's arm.

Sean got a better hold on the harpoon, trying again to impale Jetsam with the sharp point. Jetsam dodged it quickly, grabbing the end to get control of it before flipping Sean over him. Sean hit the deck on his back, then rolled quickly to avoid the harpoons point. Jetsam had taken the harpoon from him and spun it around flawlessly, before thrusting it down to impale the deck where Sean had been seconds before. The harpoon got stuck in in wood, giving Sean an opening to kick Jetsam in the side. The force knocked Jetsam to the deck, but also dislodged the harpoon. Sean scanned the deck for another harpoon and ran for it. Jetsam rolled to his feet, throwing the harpoon. The harpoon whizzed by Sean's arm and impaled the deck just before the harpoon that he was after. Moving around the impaled harpoon, he picked up the harpoon that he wanted and whirled around. Jetsam hissed at him, his arms starting to ripple with electricity. Nobles rushed as far from them as they could as Jetsam ran up to him.

Sean raised his hands to block, but as Jetsam grabbed the metal harpoon with his rippling hands, Sean released it with a startled scream. Taking the harpoon, Jetsam swung it out at him, and Sean ducked before retreating. Jetsam hefted the harpoon, throwing it at him as sparks rippled down the metal. Sean ran to the side, reaching out to grab the railing as he jumped off the ship. Gripping the railing, his side hit the side of the ship as the harpoon whizzed over his head and into the water. Sean looked down at the water, debating about letting go. However, as he hung there, he noticed a ship crashing fast over the water. The ship was a bright red with black leather sails and a large white skull head on the front. Within the mouth and eyes of the skull were a set of cannons. Standing fearlessly on the bowsprit, holding onto a rigging line was Captain Hook. Sean's heart stopped as saw the black pirate flag waving high. This was the last thing he needed.

Jetsam moved up to the side, raising a sparking hand as he called down. "Me or the shark, little prince! Make your choice!" Without missing a beat, Sean yelled back. "HOOK!" Jetsam blinked completely thrown for a loop, until a loud 'BANG' sounded before the back of the ship took a hit. Wooden shrapnel burst out from the cabin's quarters, causing people to scream and duck. Jetsam stumbled as the ship shuddered violently. Across the water, Sean heard Hook yell out. "LIGHT HER UP!" Sean clung to the side as the roar of cannons filled the air. Jetsam rolled to his feet as the back of the ship was blown apart in bits. Sean tried to climb back over the side as Flotsam screamed out from below deck. "JETSAM! HELP!" Jetsam forgot all about Sean, dashing across the deck as fast as his legs could take him. Then jumping out feet first, Jetsam slide across the last of the deck and down into the small gap within the stairs leading below. Sean climbed back onto the ship as nobles fled for the long boats. Sean thought about going with them, until he heard Verlaine scream and Flotsam yell out. "JETSAM! HURRY!"
