~MOVING ON~
It took a lot of pleading to get me out of the house, dad took me to a barbing salon to get a hair cut. Mom tidied my apartment and help me take care of everything.
Elia wouldn't want me to be sad or live my life like this, I had hope that I will see her again, it'll take time but I'll see her again.
I decided to try my luck back at the hospital but someone else had already taken my position but they still wanted me to work for them. They were short on doctors in their other branch, I was willing to take up the job.
I was tired of sitting at home, doing nothing, I needed to be strong, I needed to move on. Moving on didn't mean forgetting about Elia, my heart still belongs to her and only her and I won't stop.
"You're being transferred to Celsibon."
Of all places?
I had no choice but to take it, I packed my bags to the city where it all started.
I felt like it was going to be hard, I was trying to move on but I was going to the place that'll remind me of her. I had no choice, it's the only job I could get.
I stayed at the same hotel, I did previously and I went in search for a house that the hospital will be paying for.
I informed the hospital that I have a house in mind and they contacted the owners and dealt with the payment, I moved in and started work at the new branch.
I ran into Havana again and we became friends, she'll come by my place with food sometimes since I was a lazy cook.
I got to know Havana better, but she was nothing like Elia, I missed her everyday.
I cried the day Havana asked about her, I couldn't hold it, I let the tears flow down, she was a very big part of my life and now I don't know of her whereabouts.
Havana consoled me and assured me that I'd find her but how?
One day, I was sitting in my office when I heard a commotion outside. I rushed out to see what was wrong.
A group of women were crying as a lady was being rushed in with a stretcher. I walked over to them to ask what's wrong and I was shocked to see who was on the stretcher.
It was none other than Elia, she laid unconscious, she didn't look like she used to, she looked really skinny and her hair was chopped off.
What the hell happened her?
"What happened ma'am?" I asked one of the women.
"She's been struggling with cancer for like a year now." She replied.
Cancer? How?
"Take her to the emergency ward, try to get her stable and call doctor James!" I ordered the nurse.
"I'll need you to tell me more about her illness, hospitals she's been to."
"We always bring here." The woman said.
"I'll do my best to help her, I can't loose her for the second time." I assured her.
I found where her medical reports were and I was shocked at what I saw, she had lung cancer. It was in the last stage, there was no hope at all.I was going to loose her again.
