Chapter 6 - Interesting Visiter

Parker's POV

I was just about to let the line of screaming girls in when my boss came up and told me to go backstage. I have been working here for about 8months now and the only time you get told to go backstage is if something is seriously wrong. I started my way to the stage so I could go in back. Today 5 Seconds Of Summer were going to preform but they should be ready in back by now. When I got in the back they were not ready at all. They were in the dressing room crowding around the couch that is set up in there. I could hear them swearing under their breaths, especially Michael and whenever he swears he usually says it out loud.

I walk over and ask the boys what's going on. They turn around and Calum is in tears, Luke is running a hand through his hair messing it up of course. I see Ashton sat down next to the couch and Michael is leaning over something on the couch. Well, at least I thought it was something. I walked over to the couch to see Mari. She had a big gash on her head and a few bruises on her body. Seeing her like that scared me to death. She looked so lifeless. I looked at Calum who started crying harder. "She's dead isn't she!" Calum yelled. 'Dear god I hope not' was all I could think. Ashton gave Calum a look and said "shut up Cal, she is only passed out!". Calum went to the other side of the room and sat in a chair. He looked so worried. "Hey Michael, what happened to M..?" I said with all the strength I could. I used to call her M when we were 10 and she loved the nickname. "Calum wanted to get on the bus real quick to get a pillow from his bunk. When he opened the back door he heard a thump and opened it all the way to see he hit her. He started yelling for us so we all ran out and as soon as we got out there she passed out. Do you know her?". "Yeah she goes to my school and she used to work with me here." I couldn't believe she was here. What was she doing all the way out here anyway. She doesn't even know how to get here because I was the one that had to pick her up for work.

"Ok, well you guys need to get ready really quick before you go on stage.", Luke looked at me with a confused expression, "but we are ready." If only he knew how he looked. His quiff has gone from 3 inches tall to flat on his head from running his hand through it. Calum pulled out his phone and snapped a pic of Luke. Once Luke saw the picture he went back to the lady who did his hair. I think her name was Lou. Calum walked over to the makeup artist knowing that he looked pale and wet from all the crying. Poor guy he was really beating himself up about hitting Mari with the door.

Ashton left for a minute only to return with 2 pillows. He gave one to Cal and put the other one under Mari's head. I'm guessing he more of a down to earth kind of guy. I have only known then for about the 10 hours they have spent just getting ready along with sound check and stuff. I was about to leave when we all heard a noise. I recognized it as one of the boys songs.

It was Mari's phone. All of the boys seemed happy that she had that ringtone but whoever was calling was determined to get in touch with her because they called about 7 times before Luke picked it up. It said 'Sky'

(Phone conversation)
L- hello?
S- um..hello? Who is this?
L- um... this is Luke. I'm guessing that this is Sky
S- yea...where is Mari and why do you have her phone. *Luke had it on speaker and she sounded pretty annoyed that a stranger picked up the phone.
L- she got hit with a door at the theatre's back entrance
S- OMG, what is she doing there? And is she ok?
L- yea she is fine but we need someone to pick her up because we don't really know what to do
S- well first of all if she got hit with that metal door then she needs medical help just in case, what is the doing now?
L- well she is sort of.. Passed out
S- WHAT?!
L- she blacked out when the door hit her
S- is there someone at the theater who can help... God have you never had this happen before?
L- well a fan once passed out but her friend said she was fine
S- what do you mean fan?
L- a fan of 5 seconds of summer
S- wait...are... You Luke Hemmings?! *Luke blushed
L- yea
S- OMG you guys are awesome! Me and Mari love you guys so much!
M- is that her name? *Michael chimed in knowing Luke was too nervous to talk now
S- yea her real name is Marielena though.
M- wow that's beautiful. * michael blushed, I think he meant to say it to himself
S- ok well the soonest I can get her is in the morning around 9 ish
M- that's fine we will still be here by then
S- ok thank you
M- no problem
S- bye
M- bye
