Chapter 26 - Calum's Secret Crush

Mari's POV

It's been about 2 hours since I have been up. It's about 9:00 and the only other person up is Ash but he went to the store. I'm just sitting here watching TV. It's a little boring, plus all I can remember from last night is Michael leaving, coming back, and everyone of us leaving the hospital. I snuck away from Michael so I could have some alone time. I'm small so it wasn't too hard, but his grip was tight around me. I was about to change the channel when someone knocked on the door. I opened it to see a mail man with a package. "Package for Marielena Orozco?" He said. I accepted it and signed the little computer thingy he had.

I set it on the counter and opened it up. Inside was a note and some of my clothes from home. Who sent this? I read the note, 'here are some clothes so you don't have to wear the same thing everyday. I'm sending some more of your stuff later but this will have to do for now or else your mom will question where your stuff is going. Love, David' I looked at some of the clothes and of corse they were my favorites. Parker or Sky must have told him what happened. He would always sneak into my room to scare me in middle school. Wait...what am I going to do about school. I could just drop out, but I'm not sure that's what my dad will want.

I put the note in my pocket to remind me to send him a text later. I took my blue tank top and some black skinnies out of the box to go change. I came out and saw Calum sitting on the couch. I crept up behind him wanting to scare him. I looked over his shoulder and noticed he was texting someone. It said 'can't wait to meet you😊'. "Whose that?" I said, forgetting he didn't know I was there. "Dear god!....what? Oh, I met someone online and she is coming here so I can finally meet her." Oooh, Calum has a secret girlfriend? "So, do you like her?" I said taking a seat next to him. "Well, yeah. But only like a friend... I mean I haven't even met her yet so it's not like I love her." He blushed. He is crushing hard.

Calum's POV

I did like her, I mean who wouldn't. I can't wait until people meet her. Should I introduce them to her. I mean with all of these weirdos would she even like to stay around. She told me she had just turned 15 so I mean a 5 year age difference isn't that bad. Michael and Mari are 4 years apart and once Michael's birthday comes around that will be 5 years so same sinario. "Don't tell anyone about her though. Okay?" I said to Mari. "Okay, your secret is safe with me. I promise on my life" she said. I hope she doesn't break it. She just promised on her life, but I guess it is her life to give. Not that I would hurt her if she did break it but... You know what I mean.

I walked back to me and Ash's room. He let me bunk with him ever since I have been hearing footsteps walking around the house while I try and sleep. He says its just the others switching rooms or something but I don't want to risk anything. I walk past Sky and Mari's room only to see Luke and Sky cuddling in the bed. Those 2 are so cute together. I hope me and her are the same. We said we wouldn't trade names until we met. Just so that we wouldn't judge or anything like that. She will be here tomorrow and I can't wait.
