Chapter 15 - Drama, Traffic, and The Noise

Calum's POV

Wow. What just happened. I'm not too sure exactly what did happen but we heard someone yelling at Mari through the phone. Once they stopped and hung up we saw her sit on the floor. She was hugging her knees to her chest. Skylar walked over and tried to calm her down. She wasn't crying but she must have seen it coming because sure enough; there were tears on her face.

I looked over at Skylar and gave her a confused look. 'What happened?' I mouthed to her. 'I think her mom is mad'. I let it sink in when I finally got it. Her mom must have been mad at her for coming with us or running from Skylar that night.

Ash walked over and whispered something to Skylar. She stood up and walked away as Ash picked her up and took her upstairs. Once he came back down We all stood there in silence. I walked over to the driver and asked how long it would take until we got to Atlanta. "If this traffic keeps up then we won't get there until about 7:30 pm."

Damn, I was hoping we could get some fast food on the way, but if we won't get there until 7:30 then there was no way that Frankie was going to stop. "Ok, thanks Frank."

This was going to take forever. Plus I could tell that the guys might just hit on the girls the whole time. I wish I had a girlfriend. One that did not talk to much, but talked to me just enough. One that had beautiful short hair, or maybe long hair, if it suited her face. I didn't want to leave a girl when I went on tour, but I didn't want to be girl-less.

"I put her in the bunk above Michael's, so be quiet if you go up there because she might be asleep." Ash said. He always seemed to know what to do. He was like a father to us on tour, and anytime we are away from home. He must have had training with his brother and sister. He always treated us like family which was his best trait.

We started to nod when we hit a bump in the road. Once we went past it we heard a thud from upstairs. "What the hell was that?"
