Chapter 29 - 'you'

Ash's POV

"Sorry, lady problems" sky said. Oops. "Ok...never mind" I said. I didn't want to mess with a lady during that time. I have seen the beast, I don't want to see it again. I walked back to Me and Calum's room to see him smiling at his phone. "Whatcha doin?" I said. He looked at me and told me about how he has been talking to Anita a lot lately and how she wants to see him again real soon. "Congrats buddy. You finally got yourself a girl" I said. He blushed and his face fell. "What's wrong?" He looked upset. "We are on tour and she lives here. We live about 7,000 miles away. Maybe even more. We can't just hang onto each other for that long. It's unhealthy. What are the guys going to do when they have to leave Sky and Mari? We can't stay here forever, and they can't just ride along with us forever." He said. He said it really fast too, like he has been holding it in for so long. I heard a crash. I looked at Calum and we both started heading for the living room. I walked in and saw the funniest thing.

"He/she started it" Mari and Michael said in unison. Around them were hundreds of bouncy balls about the size of baseballs. They started laughing and me and Cal couldn't help but join it. There were pieces of a plastic bowl on the floor so that must have been the crash. I saw a Walgreens bag on the counter and the balls had settled to make a perfect layer on the ground. Mari took a step forward only to step on one of the balls and fall onto Michael. They both landed on the ground causing a lot of balls to fly in the air. Like a mini explosion. "S-Sorry..." She stuttered. She seemed really embarrassed. I guess she only really showed her love for him when she was drugged. She stood up and went over to the bag and pulled out some hair dye. Michael walked over to her and they both ran for the bathroom. Luke and Sky were just coming down the hall when they did. "Hey! Luke I have been looking all over for you. Where have you been?" I said. I thought he left or something because last time I checked he was gone. "I was in the room thinking" he said. He seemed tense but Sky was right there so if he was doing something he didn't want her to know then I wasn't going to push him. "Okay." I said.

Mari's POV

We ran to the bathroom with the hair dye in our hands. "Ok you first" I said. We were both going to do blue but since my hair, except for my strip of dye, was already black we were going to be matching. He sat down on the counter but he was way to tall for me so he had to sit on the toilet. I pulled out the black dye started to mix the stuff. "Don't forget to keep a section away from the black. That way it will be easier to dye blue." He said. "I know what to do. I'm smart, I swear" I said with a giggle. He leaned back and I separated a section away. Once I had spread the black dye around, I put a bag on his head and set a timer for 25 minutes. "What are we going to do now?" I asked. I am so impatient so I don't think I could just sit around. "We could go ahead and put the blue on your strip of hair." He suggested. I agreed and with that I was sitting right were he had. I felt so short down here. He was like a giant that was getting rid on lice. I laughed. "What?" He asked. "Nothing I'm just thinking about stupid stuff," I said "what are you thinking about?" I asked. "That I want some Panda Express." He said. "I love Panda Express!" I yelled. The thought of Panda Express made my mouth water. "We should go get some once the dye is done in out hair!" He said. I swear he has the best ideas.

(25 minutes later)

Micky's hair has just finished dying back so I'm putting the blue in now. We have been talking non-stop. Ash even came in once to tell us to lower our voices. We must have been yelling and not even realized it. We were just naming the first thing that popped into our head now. It was my turn to give him words for him to think of.

MC- express

M- ashton
MC- party pooper

*"heard that" Ashton yelled from the living room. We just laughed.

M- pizza
MC- soul mate

M- hair dye
MC- twins *when he said this he pointed to our heads

M- music
MC- life

By now he was just blurting out random things, and so was I. There was one that caught my attention though. One that didn't seem like it was just blurted out.

M- love
MC- you

When he said this our eyes got big. He covered his mouth and I stopped playing with his now black hair. "What?" I asked it came out so faint. The others were out getting some trash bags to put all of the balls in so they didn't hear it. "I think I said...you" he said shyly. I could tell that he knew he couldn't take back what he said, and I'm not sure I wanted him to. "What does that mean?" I asked I was hoping for an answer that could ease my mind. The only times I have ever shown my emotions for him was when I was drugged, and Sky had to tell me that stuff because when I was drugged I couldn't remember a thing. Which is ironic considering that the stuff is for my amnesia. "I think it means I love you, but love is a really strong word. I'm really not sure why I said 'you'. Maybe I just wasn't thinking or something. I'm sorry." He babbled. I'm not sure what answer I got but as soon as I was about to get up and leave the timer went off for the last part of Micky's hair. He leaved over into the sink again as I turned the water on.

Once the dye was out we took a look in the mirror. We looked like siblings. Which was kind of weird though, considering that I have a major crush on him...so. "You ready for Panda Express?" He asked cutting the awkward silence. I nodded and just like that we were off to the worlds best fast food Chinese place.
